they have 7 'Don't Buys' by such manufacturers as,
Bush (2)
Marks and Spencer
Sharp
Technica (2)
Atec
Evotel
And 32 Best Buys from brands such as;
Samsung (11)
Panasonic (8)
LG (3)
Sony (10)
Now make your own judgements here, but whilst the poster who suggested the Samsung was lambasted for the non-comparable features, he clearly knows that Samsung models fair very well in terms of quality, as do the others mentioned above, and the cheaper models such as Bush ought to be avoided as their performance is reflected in their price.
If you do not follow 'labels' and only buy this TV, then no doubt you will be satisfied with it, right up to the point when you go to someones house with a classy Panasonic Viera where you can actually see the colour and contrast as it should be!
As for actually getting one of these from Lidl, I suggest queueing from at least 8.30am for a 9am opening (if not earlier).
Good luck to those attempting it.
We have had 2 Tevion TV's from Aldi. Both had Samsung panels in, both had 3 years guarantee, one of the TV's panels went after Two & a half years & was replaced & we sold it on after having it for just over 4 years. The second TV's panel went a week before the 3 years guarantee finished, this was replaced & we still have it nearly six years since we bought it. The picture is superb & with HD is fantastic. We also have a 12 month old 42" Panasonic Viera Plasma that has a fantastic picture on it. Make what you want of this but some cheap makes are quite good. My only complaint about the TV by the OP is that it has no Freeview HD. We don't get Freeview HD for 2 years in our area, but I still won't buy a TV unless it has Freeview HD & would have gone for this one had it had Freeview HD.Nice to save.0
