Tried that kaya, she is SO pushy - wont let you go until you arrange an interview and meanwhile the queue behind you gets longer & longer. Is embarrassing and that poor man with the wife in a wheelchair was really skewered . Think they trained under the KGB. But now I know its not mandatory I'm fine and will be ready for her !
Just say to her, "No thank you. And whilst you're at it, please can you tick that box on your screen so that you stop asking me this every time I come in, as it's getting quite irritating".
Job done.
If she doesn't get the message after that, then she's a half wit."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Just say No Thank you..she must take your answer. If not tell her you want to speak to her manager.
By the way are you at an English RBS Branch ?
If you are ask her to help you to move to a Scottish branch unless you really want to face her as a Santander employee which will be even worse.0 -
She IS the manager :rotfl: and I have complained about her already0

She IS the manager :rotfl: and I have complained about her already
Did you write to RBS head office? I complained about my manager and got an appology from them. An added bonus is that she never asks to see me now:T"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Another option would be to arrange an appointment then "forget" to attend. After a few attempts she might get the message and realise she is wasting her time instead of yours."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

When banks ask you to go in for a review, do you have to go ? Can you refuse ?I feel like phoning the bank cust services and complaining."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0

I'm not very good at resisting pushy people so I would probably make the appointment but not turn up. Wonder how many times you could do that before they stop hassling you.
Or one way that seems to put people off a bit is to just stare at them while they do their spiel and then silently shake your head at the end. This is my normal way of being and it does seem to confuse people. They expect me to have a conversation but I barely do conversations with people I know let alone strangers. They then move on to someone they can get a normal reaction out of.0 -

When I deposited a cheque in my local bank the teller asked LOUDLY "What are going to do with this money?" I wish I had replied "None of your business". I declined an offer to put it into a Bond and an interview with a bank advisor. Banks are just sales offices now." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
