Please could i have some opinions on this, I'm so confused and upset.
someone in our family has committed insurance fraud. It's one of many things that this person has done, so I have rung the insurance fraud hotline and informed them.
I have told my parents and have just had a big argument with my father. He says it could have repercussions and he's very disappointed that I chose to do it.
I understand that, but the family has spent 2 years talking about this person and all the terrible things they have carried out, scamming even relatives. I had had enough and decided to make a phonecall.
If people are able to get away with insurance scamming then we're allowing it to happen, we're enabling it. aren't we?
I'm debating whether or not to call back the fraud company and retract, my dad was so cross with me.

What good will retracting do? I would bet any damage is now done.0

You can't retract it now, they'll still investigate.
You thought it was the right thing to do, so stick with your decision.0 -
If this person is stealing from his own relatatives, it's time for their come uppance."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

No, I guess I wouldn't retract. just as well if I cant anyway. I just considered it immediately after the row with my dad - he made me feel like I'd done a huge wrong. (Ironic)0

I respect you for doing the right thing. too many people turn a blind eye these days... insurance fraud makes it more expensive for the rest of us0

If people couldn't get away with insurance fraud it wouldn't happen in the first place.0 -
Let those without sin cast the first stone.
