its ok found it BUT been declined as outside of the US or applied within last 30 days, yes we are in uk and no never applied before hmmm

I phoned PayPal Access today to follow up where my card is. They advised that there has been a delay (shock horror) and cards are being posted within next 14 days.

Have they never heard of email. After all, we are effectively waiting for a debit card to arrive - and if you don't know when its sent - you can't report it missing, if it gets lost in the post.

Its been saying card issued online for nearly two weeks now.

I've heard they are being sent in batches too.

Very odd if you ask me, l rang yesterday enquirying about where my card was, told 14 days etc and what drops on the mat today..a nice new shiny Access Card. If only l had transffered money to the bank account yesterday. However on saying that l think l will continue to only hold small ammounts in Pay Pal just incase the account becomes frozen which may lead to the Access card being frozen too.

Oh well, at least it's here now.

Got mine this morning too - only thing I'm a little disappointed in is that you can't top it up other than topping your pp account up - and my pp account is linked to my dads credit card so I'm not quite sure how that would work - other then that pleased that it's finally arrived!

If anyone as a problem activating it - paypal are trying to fix the problem.

But i have read that if you use firefox instead of IE - it will still activate OK.

Thanks for the above tip techspec - I tried to activate my card on IE but couldn't, so just tried on Firefox and it went through fine - shame I have nothing in my PayPal account at the moment

I've just received my New Paypal Access card. The only problem is, it's not much use when paypal have closed my account:( https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3196138

I've just rung them up and asked if they are going to re instate my account seeing as they have given me an access card and am waiting for a response/ I won't hold my breath waiting for them to re instate it as I then won't be alive to post on mse again:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:
