Pay Pal Top Up Card - A Reminder

On 21 April £20.06 was refunded back to my PayPal account, 2 hours later a second refund of exactly the same amount was made.

I had purposefully got my PayPal Top up credit balance down to a few pence about a month earlier, however when I last looked there was a credit of £17 something and the card showing as blocked.

They always were very slow at catching up with available balance etc but 2 refunds of the same amount on the same day???

I haven't queried it, I sure PayPal will get back to me if it was a mistake.

After hearing nothing about the paypal access card, i have today been told i'm getting one within 2 weeks. I wonder if logging into someone else's email link actually worked - as i was never invited myself.

Well today in the post my dh received his paypal access card which was a complete surprise as we had no emails saying he was getting one any time soon.

I noticed the site www.paypal.co.uk/accesscard had gone live yesterday and i'm hoping mine is waiting when i get home from holiday next week. I was never offered one, but paypal seem to think i'm getting one - and they should know.

Was it the restricted or full card? I assumed all would be the restricted cards to start with.

Ohhhhh no, your post has just brought me a reminder. Is it my email that you are talking about? When did you respond via my email if so? I am just wondering if there is a tie in with that and my paypal account being blocked and then closed:eek::eek:

Yeah it was me - i'm claiming your online identity

Well, it could have been me, had you not emailed me weeks after i already done it lol. Thats why i asked to see your email - i logged onto someone elses and then was told it could be a fake. I changed my paypal password and looked into it and it was genuine.

When i logged in using my paypal log in detail a screen came up and said i would now receive an access card, and that i just needed to confirm my address, which i did.

They must have had one spare after someone elses was cancelled

I was probably getting one from the start, but just never the emails.

yep, thrown off ebay cos no paypal. But I did get a cheque for my top up card balance the other day. I haven't rushed to the bank to put it in I am embarassed to say. It was £1.18:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I must say i've never heard of anyone having their ebay account closed aswell.

Did any of your DSR's go below 4.6 - as that seems to be the point ebay/paypal are clamping down on?

nope all mine were high. 4.9, 5.0, 4.8, 4.7 and 98.4% feedback with 472. Nobody can sell on ebay if they don't take paypal as payment and seeing as they are both owned by same people then it seems once you are kicked from paypal it automatically kicks you off ebay.
