Thats what I am walking down the aisle too! I had heard it on the tv and LOVED it, but never knew what it was called - then one afternoon I was in Oxfam and it was on in the background. I had to wait for it to finish to hear the name - whilst chatting to the assistants and telling them why I wanted to know, they thought it was lovely! After all that, I couldnt hear the name, but went back to work, and found it on the Classic FM playlist!:T
We are having this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-xd3NuWQI0 to walk back up the aisle too!
Havent decided what to play when signing the register yet. Its doing my head in!0 -
This is the songs that is baffling me the most. I've got all the other songs but not sure about walking up the Aisle.
Was thinking of Songbird by Eva Cassidy

I've discovered that if you type Vitamin String Quartet into Spotify (and youtube?) they've done literally hundreds of string covers of pop songs, some really good. I feel spoiled for choice!0

From my Body Balance classes I'm tempted to go for something from Stanton Lanier. Lovely peaceful music.0

 Cheers, I'm just going through all my favourites now. Hadn't heard of them before. Getting married 18/06/11 :beer:0 -
I think Ave Maria to walk down the aisle, and Paolo Nutini's Growing Up Beside You as we walk out (we sat next to each other in school and have been together since we were 17, seems really fitting!)0

Loving all the suggestions so far...
My best friend from primary school had Canon in D for her walking down the aisle music, a really beautiful piece, and sounded so lovely in the church
I'm having a civil ceremony and heard this on the radio a few months back. It's not a very well-known song but when I played it to my H2B he was sold instantly - he'd never confessed to liking Tracy Chapman beforehand

Tracy Chapman - The Promise
Might need to edit cos it's a bit long

I know it sounds mental, but we're hoping to get the Back to the Future theme tune played by the organist as we walk in. We're both film freaks and it sounds really good done on the organ and slowed right down!0
