What are you walking down the aisle to?

I'm walking down to either:
Shrek Karaoke Dance Party
or
My Beloved monster (Also Shrek)
We are walking back up the aisle to 'You gotta Kiss The Girl' - Little Mermaid
Me and OH are jokers, we don't take life serious and i've had a couple of arguments about the music with my mother... But its tough!

I was supposed to walk down the aisle to Coldplay Chasing Cars instrumental version.
However the guy in charge of pressing the play button managed to start the music, I waited for the build up, had it all timed in my head when to walk in. I got passed the door, then the twit must have twitched or something and paused it! And didn't restart it!
Took us days to decide on the music as well.0 -

my friend today was surpised that i wasnt going first and it threw me a bit, i hadnt even considered it
I first saw the BMs first last year and thought it was odd, decided I would be first...until the ladies in the dress shop said about me being the last to make the "grand entrance" and so everyone can see the back of my dress. I haven't discussed it with OH yet but think I will be last, it gives me longer to look at him before I walk and it will add to the suspense!
I haven't decided on music yet so will keep an eye on this for ideas. We are struggling on music decisions for everything, we are both musicians so are kind of fussy about it being right. I am trying to remember what has been important to us through our careers to see if that gives me any ideas.MFW 2026 No. 7 £2414.62/£5000

I had walked in to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXdjDX33QSE
I wondered about that. I don't suppose it helps it would just be instrumental... and the song has nothing to do with religion...0 -
I think it depends on the regsitrar. There's some lovely pieces of classical music that were written many years ago and then more recently they became hymns when religious words were added to them. Technically the music came first but now they'd be recognised as hymns you'd probably not be allowed to use them. Got my OH quite wound up as he knows his music and had all these wonderful ideas we couldn't use! But he found our bridal march we're coming in to, and he wrote the first of our signing the register ones so he's happy enough

Hi,
My cousin is a piper and I'm half scottish so I'm being piped down the aisle!
Don't know what too yet as we haven't picked

I'm not too sure about Halleluah tbh. It's a beautiful song and I love it, or at least I did. efore the Alexandra Burke monstrosity, but its not a happy song. It's about being totally broken by someone who is torturing you. In my mind at least its a breakup song rather than a wedding song. Sorry.
Went to a wedding a few years ago where the bride came in to Highland cathedral. That's also the song that plays when the Scotland rugby team are preparing to run on to the pitch so I half expected them to run up after her.
I was going to make my entrance to Elgar's salut d'amour but h2b thinks its boring.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

:T That is brilliant!
We have decided on Canon in D for me to walk down the aisle to but my OH is a DJ and we are going to edit it so it's not such a long piece. After signing the register we are going to leave to Canon in D again but the rock version - just to liven everyone up ready for the party!!!! OH also wants to re-mix "the bird is the word" in there somewhere but I'm trying extremely hard to steer him away from it coz I will have it in my head all bleeding night!!!:rotfl:0 -
I'm probably going for something Welsh & traditionalish to walk down the aisle, but we're looking into something a bit more fun to exit to, a possible nod to our raving days
