What are you walking down the aisle to?

I'm getting married in March and having total indecision over what to walk down the aisle to. It was going to be a string version of the bridal chorus, but I'm worrying it's too cliched.
Alternatives I've thought about are Salut D'amour by Elgar on violin, Canon in D, or Andantino by Mozart. Thing is, we have a short aisle (civil ceremony in a hotel) so I'm worried about having too long a piece that we have to either cut short or wait around for it to finish. I'm probably over-thinking this.
What have other people gone for - need some inspiration!

I am walking in to the Bridal March played on harp. I wish it was a real live harp but it is just on CD but I think it is nice just the same.
I wouldn't worry what is cliched, just have what you like.
Most people we have spoken to don't like one of the songs we are having for the signing of the register but we are having it anyway because WE like it and it is OUR wedding

We got married a few weeks ago (We chose 'Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla'!)
The toastmaster advised us on walking down the aisle, so that the song gets some time and your guests get time to take photos-
music comes on
count to 10
bridesmaids slowly walk down the aisle and wait at front
count to 10
bride slowly walks down aisle
hope this helps!fran-o0 -
I've chose a beautiful version of the bridal march by Jonathan Cain (from Journey)...totally gorgeous and less than 2 mins long so suitable for the civil ceremony without a long walk

Thanks guys. I don't know why I'm finding this so hard really. And the counting to ten thing sounds very sensible to me.
I'm a big fan of Leonard Cohen and part of me would like Hallelujah to walk down to... I found a string version... what do people think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQ6fwTLuI9s
(that's assuming the registrar would allow us to have it)0 -
Sorry...that made me laugh as your first post said about not wanting a long piece, then you mentioned Hallelujah...in the original version Cohen wrote weren't there something like 46 verses??? Think your string version is a better idea

That's a lovely story. I think you should take it as slowly as you want to - I don't think anyone would mind.0 -
