    Hi Annie-C,
Did you have to do the "you need to be on our mailing list" to-do? Does anybody know if they are still accepting 2 cards (in separate transactions).
Thanks a bunch for any help

I was asked for my details in the Longacre store, but was already on the system anyway as I have previously shopped online with them. I wasn't asked in the Piazza store. I asked the Longacre asst to check that I was down for emails only as I feel that paper catalogues are wasteful, and the assistant agreed with me and confirmed that she had ticked the 'email only' option.

I wouldn't have had the nerve to ask to use 2 cards in one store, I'm afraid - my embarassment levels were just about beyond my threshold using one card in each store.... :o:D

Yes, you definitely can use more than one card in store.

I have 2 cards still to use- my next stops are Brighton next weekend, and possibly Reading this weekend. Any clues on availability in these 2 stores anyone? Particularly looking for the butterfly top? x

Thanks Annie-C and Lynn1966. I need to be really strong the next time I'm in Hobbs; I've seen the perfect suit for a wedding but it's over £400! So eyes down, get a tee-shirt and leave.
    Thanks again

But you have to be brave to use more than 1 card at a time. In Aberdeen yesterday someone was buying a few items and she got the third degree - Where did you get all the cards etc. etc. They loosely folded her items and put into a Hobbs bag then she had to ask for tissue over the top so they couldn't be seen then had to ask to get the bag sealed. Not good customer service. The shop was busy too and each customer got pounced on as they came in the door. I asked if they had tshirts and got told no and then found loads on the rails. Asked for my size someone went to the stock room then said no all sold out. So no tops for me yesterday. Consoled myself with M&S sale :D

edited to say she did ask if I had a Red card before she went to the stock room to return to say none left in my size.

    That's appalling!

You should have told her that you didn't have a Red card then when she brought out the tops, you should have said "Oh what's this I've found in my pocket? I'd forgotten all about it." Then smiled nicely and used it to pay for it.

I'm scared to actually type this because I know I will be shot. In my defence, they were not all my cards but people in the office had given me cards to get stuff for them. We all had cards and because I'm big and brave, I had the task of getting the tops.

In one visit on Monday, I used 11 cards. And the staff were lovely about it. Got my tissue paper, they were helpful, they were lovely.

    Way to go Birmingham!

Please don't shout at me - I am happy to go get people's tops if they are desperate!
