Thought I'd pop to Hobbs to spend my very last red card, I was looking for the black shell top for £29.00, no luck on that in 2 stores. So I decided to just get a plain white Tee shirt for £19.00. The SA was as nice as spice until I mentioned the Red card, then she suddenly morphed into a bit of dragon! She said that you can't use the card on any items under £25 (as she quite expertly extracted the Tee shirt from my hand).

Does anyone know if that's true. Wish I had taken the free glass of wine that she offered to me when I started picking up the dresses for £180 :rotfl:

    Thanks gang :)

Haven't tried it myself but lots of people on here have done so. The T & Cs on the card simply say you can't get any change from the card if you do.

You should have downed the wine as you were explaining this to her..... :D

I used one yesterday - the SA was a total cow but let me use it on a cami at £25. I thanked her sweetly and sauntered out. :D

sue oh - that's not true, call HO and complain!

First time I've posted on here but felt compelled to after reading all the way through this. It's been an absolute shambles by the sounds of it. A couple of people have mentioned the number of these cards being sold on ebay. It's worth a try if you aren't going to be using them in store as most of them seem to be selling. Interestingly, there is one person buying most of them. Hobbs insider anyone?

That's sooo interesting! The ebay ones do seem to have been bought by someone with the scrambled id o***o. I wonder why anyone would want that many? What do you mean by a 'hobbs insider'? Do you mean a random member of staff or a head office bod?

Was the new stock quite cheap or would you need to pay quite a bit as well as using the red card? I have been hanging on waiting to see if they get some new stock in so hopefully, might get something soon.

There was the usual t-shirts £19, £25, £29 etc. There is a lovely new patterned NW3 t shirt (which is on the website) at £35. A striped vest top with some sort of embroidered bee on the corner. I pointed out the shop assistant that this wasn't for me - I am already walking around with ducks on my front and back, bees were not my thing!!! The linen tops are lovely as well but I think they are about £59 - but saying that, they really are very nice.....
There is a new short sleeved light blue t-shirt at £29 (I think) which is nice as well.
Two cards left - not a chance of getting any on ebay with o***o!!!! I will be watching the website because they do seem to stock whatever is featured on there.
