Well, I'm persuaded to give it a go tomorrow at St Paul's - I'll post on how it goes.

OK - I went to Hobbs yesterday lunchtime and it couldn't have gone better. I'm not their usual clientele i.e. I'm a size 20. But the SAs were lovely, chatty, told me that I could use the card on shoes (they went out the back and checked), they told me that they'd told all their friends about the offer ('it's so much better than 20% off' one of them said). Chatted about how they had just got their clothing allowance - they all wear Hobbs clothing. Once said she'd been on holiday when it came through and she'd missed out on the new stock.

I bought the camisole top - XL. Fits lovely and I will still be able to wear it as I continue to lose the weight as the quality is so good.

So, I would certainly recommend going into Hobbs - my expereince was brilliant!

This deal is in the weekly email, so get your Red mags ASAP ladies or they will sell out!

5 MILLION people get the weekly email now

Also be aware that the card is bright red and attached to the front cover, inside a plastic cover. There were several copies in my local Tesco today with the cover ripped and the cards stolen....

It was in last week's e-mail as well, so if there was a time to panic, it would have been last week.

I would have thought they all have the same bar code, so I would imagine you could use it again, lucky you :D

I used two vouchers today in Birmingham, and the sales assistants were really lovely, I really enjoyed shopping there, wish I could afford to do it all the time!

I imagine it's like other store gift cards, where you can add or use credit; she may have given it you back but it probably has a zero balance.

I went in yesterday to spend 2 vouchers, and they could not have been nicer about it. The assistant was really helpful without being intrusive, I chose 2 tops & spent a total of £14. 10/10 for Hobbs. I'd certainly consider going in there again.
I didn't see any vest tops or any of the basic black/white £25 LS tops - but it might be worth asking, as I asked about something I'd seen online, & they had it in the stockroom.
I can't understand why this thread isn't more popular!
