How dare you say that!! From experience of shopping in classier stores, such as Hobbs and my favourite, Gucci, the poor staff have to deal with rude, arrogant, demanding customers who treat them like dirt! I truly find your comment disgusting. Sales assistants are there to help and advise, to ensure a pleasant experience! Often working on terrible wages and NO Commission. They are humans as well you know!!
Finally, I'd also like to say that I find Hobbs staff some of the most friendly, efficient and HONEST in the entire retail business! Especially in my local store, Gunwharf Quays!! :T0 -
Do they have plenty of stuff with very little to pay? Can't decide wether to catch train to Liverpool or go with hubby to Birmingham at the weekend.
Hi twig1 - sorry for taking ages to edit my original post. It's now edited mentioning that you were the person who originally mentioned it on the freebies board. Good job you, unlike me, decided to keep your gift card lol!0 -
tara747 yes the changing room was really small but it's not a big shop it's part of an old Victorian arcade. I agree with you, like a big changing room! He he about the bag I was thinking the same thing carrying mine but I did feel quite posh!0

spanner2, are the changing rooms small in your local Hobbs? In ours they're ENORMOUS!!!! I do like a nice big changing room.
I'm wearing my new top today.Felt a bit conspicuous carrying my Hobbs bag yesterday, as if *everyone* in town knew I'd got a freebie lol.
My local Hobbs is lovely, nice big and light changing rroms, extremely polite assistants and fantastic leather couches to try shoes on or just rest
I love the service of hobbs but would only buy boots there as I think their clothes are a little overpriced. The assistants always make me feel special though0 -

Hobbs is a big chain and is unlikely to run out of stock. Even if there is a short term run on the £25ish items the cards are valid till 2 May.0
