Has anyone sucessfully accessed the new www.police.uk website - widely advertised on BBC ?
Try it and you'll see what my title refers to......

I would get the software [STRIKE]engineers[/STRIKE] geeks back and sort the problem out.

Oh, and while they are at it, the tax site, NHS and DHSS need sorting as well

Me - they might not have erased the data completely, and then I could sell it on to telemarketers for £££s!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Well they bought it off me so I guess another government department might.

I gave them 10% off (so only £300 a month for the next 20 years on the bargain PFI deal I gave them) plus some trade in for the Sinclair ZX81 (+ RAM pack and gaffer tape to stop the wobbling) they'd initially specced and leased from me earlier.

It is not as if they could not have expected so much traffic ?

It would have been a bigger waste of money to have capacity for this peak demand when it's probably going to drop off drastically after the first couple of days once the publicity has died down

Are they all on strike perhaps, or they've all been sent to Egypt?

Yes, but rather than crashing your browser a nice redirect to a custom error page would be nicer.
