Not as easy as you think though, I have to run an extension cable from behind my huge wardrobes (the big kind that take up the entire length of my room which I built) so getting to the back of that everytime would be rather tedious.

Theres an S socket on ours too.

Agree with Browntoa the remote sockets would be ideal although as I said earlier the power down sockets we have work a treat and means the remote from the telly operates them ;)

I collected mine today - it has the rocker switch but no USB port.

Only fiddly little issue is that my son likes to put headphones on sometimes and there doesn't appear to be anywhere to plug them in. Does anyone know if there is a gizmo that would get around this? (I am highly technophobic!)

Otherwise I suppose I'll have to fork out for wireless headphones.

How will the wireless headphones work if there is no socket for headphones?

You can still get audio out with a scart to 3.5mm adapter eg http://www.amazon.co.uk/SCART-adaptor-3-5mm-socket-audio/dp/B000BN6L8Q/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_ttl_ex

Edit: Just to clarify the output will be too low for normal headphones, but should be OK for wireless headphones (which should amplify the signal)

All those who bought this TV, have you not had any problems with the picture? With mine, the picture doesn't come on straight away (can hear the sound but the screen remains black for 2 or 3 minutes) and sometimes goes blank in the middle of the programme. Also even after setting the picture brightness/colour it changes to some weird colours the next time I go on that channel. If I take the TV back, will they replace it with a new one or do I just get my money back? Not sure if I want a new one if it is going to have the same problems.

Set up my sons last night, what a superb tv for the silly low price!!

He was over the moon, more so because he can play his xbox in HD now lol
His as the on/off switch, no usb port though.

    Hi Kalsha,
It seems faulty for sure ;)

Ours take about 5 seconds for the picture to come on.

If it was me I would try and get them to replace it because for the price when they are working properly they are excellent value for money
It's not just about the money
