This one works well at my Mothers for her bedroom but i suppose it depends on where you live and whats in the way of getting a signal

Funny enough I just updated her channels this morning through it so she could get the new Challenge channel :o

Its a Samsung telly that she has though

I always wondered why mine didn't always have good signal...judging by that picture I havent even got mine set up right.

    Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the settings on the Freeview programme info box that appears at the bottom of the screen? The font is tiny and I can't read it from my bed!! Thanks x
  • Well I collected mine from instore today. I am gutted to find it does not have the on/off switch nor does it have the USB port :(

I am guessing that out of the 3 models I have the bottom of the barrel one? I am thinking about taking it back for a refund......think I should?

I don't think an on/off switch is that important...I paid £179 (special) for my samsung in my bedroom...It doesn't have an on/off but does have some fancies.
Overall I think it's a decent deal at £84.00, athough if you're really set on the on/off you could take it into store and see if they have any and exchange it.

Incidentally does anyone know of a Sky remote code for the Technika? I set Mum's up today, picked up all freeviews first off and the picture is good. Her's does have an on/off but never thought to look for USB.

Try either 0335 or 0065, one of those should work.

I doubt you will find another 22inch one for that price, and you definatley wont find one HD ready, freeview and DVD. Its a manual switch, if your that bothered turn it off at the socket.

Not as easy as you think though, I have to run an extension cable from behind my huge wardrobes (the big kind that take up the entire length of my room which I built) so getting to the back of that everytime would be rather tedious.

There is an S-video on Mum's, noticed when I was doing the scart.
