  • OUT for me after this morning's shower - Body Shop Moringa Body Scrub :)WIBA? Probably not - it smelt lovely, kind of like a powdery floral, but I must admit I didn't find it particularly scrubby and I like a scrub that feels like it's doing something, and as I've mentioned before I think a fair few Body Shop products are very expensive for what they are. But if I got it for a present then I'd be perfectly happy with it.

However this means I've now only got one body scrub left! :) So I might end up being a bit naughty and getting another one some time this month - one of the things which I think has contributed to my massive stash has been that I hate running out of stuff, so I've decided that my new rule is I can only have a new type of product once I'm down to the last one of the current type of product, which eliminates the running out of stuff midweek thing but also reduces the overall stash size.

Another UU for me - it was a Lush Karma bath melt -WNBA as although I love the smell, everything and I mean everything is covered in gold glitter:eek: Even the Alberto shampoo that I'm using as a bathroom cleaner is struggling to remove it:eek::eek:

The trick for this is to buy a cheap shower gel or bubble bath (I use Boots Essentials Pure White Bath Creme as you can get a 1 litre bottle for pennies and it doesn't really smell of anything so doesn't affect the smell of the product) and put that in the bath before you add the Lush stuff. You still have to rinse the bath out to get rid of all the colour/glitter but it will definitely not stick anywhere near as much as it will 'straight'.

UU a stupid moisturiser for thighs - Botanics - I forget the name. I'd be pleased except I have another one, and it takes ages to use up!

My ex flat mate (bloke) moved into a place with a shower and no bath, so still comes back over to mine now and again for a soak in the tub. He is ridiculously generous with bubble bath, one 250ml bottle would only last him about eight baths! It's useful, because he does use up the stash, but he doesn't like using the 'girly' ones like Sanctuary, firstly because he smells like a girl when he does, and secondly he bought me them for Christmas and knows I'd hit him.

So he turned up last night with two bottles of the Radox Savannah stuff to use when he comes over. And two bottles of Simple Foam Bath to say sorry for using up all my other stuff! Argh! Two INS that I hadn't expected! Then again, it was a nice gesture on his part, and if I wait long enough, he'll probably use them up himself anyway.

LOL that is funny - aren't you a nice friend!! Lucky for him he doesn't use the nice /Sanctuary stuff - I can just imagine him tipping a whole poshMini bubble bath into one bathload and you being torn between distress at the wanton abuse of your lovely stash and happiness at having a UU :T
Hope he cleans the bath out after (lucky he's not using Lush Glitter balls!) :)

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Three guilty INs from Organic Surge Grabbit: Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel (needed), TB Body Lotion (not needed) and a night cream (sort of needed). I'm happy, want to try out the night cream, hope it won't cause me to break out..

    No UUs, grrr.

I should mention that he is a trained chef and often cooks dinner to say thank you too..... so not entirely charitable on my part :T

And of course he doesn't rinse the bath out. He is a man.

  • My Avon Customer delivery arrived this morning so I've been sorting that out. Just the one item for me - the second of the Cashmere Finish foundations I said I was going to order whilst they were still at the stupidly low price - when I can get my HG foundation for £3 I think I can be excused having one in use (spluttering!) and two in stash! :D

Also cut open the top of my Avon Dry Skin SOS Handcream last night - considering I only use this last thing at night there is probably at least another fortnights worth left in the tube! I don't have a replacement for this as it's discontinued - I do know it will be coming through clearance in due course though. ;)

My OH can (and does) use a BIG (750ml/Litre) bottle of Radox in a week - 7 baths  I'll only buy it once a month (and only when it's £1 or less) and have told him he has to start using the non-girly ones from the stash when it runs out :p
If I'd had a valentine friend last night, one good hug and we'd be talking 'wet bar of soap' time....
