  • Sarah*a - what it is with these lads? All manly and demanding out of the bathroom, big girl's blouses the instant you mention bubbles! I think this lad would do that, but even he knew that he would be taking the mickey a bit! Congrats on the holiday too!

By the way, I've been a bit bored at work today (ahem) and got interested in another forum thread. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3031594

Apparently, you can dilute unloved hair conditioner and use it as fabric softener. Got to be an alternative to using it as shaving cream?
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

lol - my OH even has ducks in the bath :rotfl: (or did - until the dogs decided to 'play' with them) :o

Thats a cracking use for it - especially when you can get bottles of basics for about 20p :T

Thanks for all the congrats from everyone - not sure I should post this but .... I just won a 'For Couples Voucher' from buyagift :rotfl: I will have to see if we can combine the two - do the experience whilst on the holiday.

juliebunny - do you twitter? or are you on Facebook? Because you might get more joy from them if you contact them 'publicly' IYKWIM?

I had a bad experience with PapaJohns Pizza and left a comment on their FB page and they've just told me they are sending me a free pizza voucher - so it's worth a try. :D

  • You lucky, lucky beggar!

Don't worry about the ducks - this lad reads comic books in there. Sorry, graphic novels. Seriously good stories in some of them, but still comics!

  • One IN here, Skin Therapy cleansing scrub. I didn't have a facial scrub and as this was only 49p in the Wilkinson's sale I thought I would give it a whirl

One splutterer: S&G body wash has one use left in it and then tomorrow I can start on the Boots Royal Jelly bodywash and bubble bath (Xmas gift). WIBA - yes I like the S&G wash it has a nice fresh smell to it. Although, and this is the exciting bit the Royal Jelly wash is the last bodywash in my stash (I was lurking on this challenge last year and got started early) so I will soon be able to go out and buy any bodywash I want to completely guilt free! :A

Under Pink Rose Candle Philosophy you can bin stuff you really don't like, you know.... :D

Usually I use up stuff I don't like much on my feet and lower legs - it's a bit difficult when it IS foot lotion!:) And having seen the price, I can see why you persevered ...

    :rotfl:exactly.

UU a stupid moisturiser for thighs - Botanics - I forget the name. I'd be pleased except I have another one, and it takes ages to use up!

 why just the thighs - how about feet as well?

    Well done Sarah :T
Roshy I think that it is wonderful you are going head off down under. You never know you might never come back like my pal how met her now hubby there.

  • Well done Sarah! I won the lottery bonus ball at work this week so am 48quid better off!

UU Toni and Guy volumising shampoo WIBA - Yes as I do love the smell and only if it was on offer. The conditioner is spluttering.

Thrown away a black eyeliner as its years old but have treated myself to a Maxfactor felt tip liner which I am loving.

Also got an unexpected in a Vanilla giftset that my Father in Law won at a raffle so he gave it to me. Its lovely but not good when doing this challenge!
