Another splutterer to report :j:j- at long last the nasty Burts Bees foot lotion!!! Can't wait for it to be gone as I have loathed this since its first application. It should be gone in the next day or two. I won't be cutting the top off this tube, it will just be going straight into the bin whilst I

Can someone remind me of the Boots returns policy on things that don't have a receipt? I've got a big tub of FlakeAway (unopened) and its the only S&G product I don't like. Can I take it back and swap for something else? I didn't buy it but I imagine it came from boots originally. The barcode would be the same wherever it came from wouldn't it? I'll probably get Clean On Me as I've only a dribble of that left and I do love it :D

Thanks for your help Ladies x

When I did mine I marched in with plenty of confidence and saw one of the SA's on the photo desk (nearest thing to customer service) and said that I'd spoken to someone earlier in the week who had told me that I could exchange a product I'd been given as a gift and didn't have the receipt for. At this point expect to be asked if you just got the one item, as with the 3 for 2 on I think tnhey are a bit cautious. You should be able to exchange for products to the value of, or if you come a few pence under, they will probably give you change.

    Good luck!

Sarah - fab news, hope you can find a dog-sitter! :D

  • Valentines Day IN's from my mum:

I Love Strawberries and cream lipgloss, body lotion and shower gel - all minis, came in a cute wee set.
My mum always buys me and my brother something for Valentines day.

Also my friend has admitted that she bought me Lush stuff for Valentines day today as well...might see her tomorrow, so probably more IN's to report then...i haven't got her anything, wasn't actually expecting her to buy me anything...bit strange tbh. i think i will raid my stash and see what i can give her.

Under Pink Rose Candle Philosophy you can bin stuff you really don't like, you know.... :D

Usually I use up stuff I don't like much on my feet and lower legs - it's a bit difficult when it IS foot lotion!:) And having seen the price, I can see why you persevered ...

  • evening all,

I have given up on my Bayliss & Harding Skin Spa body lotion, it was so sticky, I hated using it and had totally gone off the smell so into the bin it went.

hope you are all well, xx

morning ladies, forgot to say the Clarins loyalty card at JL is called time for me they dont seem to plug it in ours maybe that's why they forgot to add my last lot of points!

uu clarins hand cream WIBA well it is a useful one to buy at bonus time without spending too much!but I have about 10 hand creams in my stash so won't need to buy any for a while:rotfl:
nails are just about okay to paint again now after several months so next week when I go to a big band dance I will paint them.last time I went to this one I wore 40s dress i.e. a dress off fleabay that was far too short in the waist and I kept pulling it down:(....also not many other peole bothered so not sure what to wear this time as full length will be out of place.

why is it that men never put in bubble bath unless you are super specific with instructions!!

My ex flat mate (bloke) moved into a place with a shower and no bath, so still comes back over to mine now and again for a soak in the tub. He is ridiculously generous with bubble bath, one 250ml bottle would only last him about eight baths! It's useful, because he does use up the stash, but he doesn't like using the 'girly' ones like Sanctuary, firstly because he smells like a girl when he does, and secondly he bought me them for Christmas and knows I'd hit him.

So he turned up last night with two bottles of the Radox Savannah stuff to use when he comes over. And two bottles of Simple Foam Bath to say sorry for using up all my other stuff! Argh! Two INS that I hadn't expected! Then again, it was a nice gesture on his part, and if I wait long enough, he'll probably use them up himself anyway.

One UU for me - the last dregs of the Kiehls creme de corps. WIBA? No, it was a gift from a person with very expensive tastes, and frankly, more money than sense. It was greasy going on and took ages to soak in. If I'd had a valentine friend last night, one good hug and we'd be talking 'wet bar of soap' time....

    Happy Tuesday everybody!
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
