I also decided to begin with a PRCP moment, and showered using the Molton Brown gift set I was given in 2007 and have been saving for a special occasion. It's body wash and gels etc. How special does the day have to be when you want to use something flash to wash your ars.... sorry.
I was also shocked to discover that I have four full 9 roll packs of Andrex. 36 loo rolls. I live alone. Should I be worried about myself?0 -

I wouldn't worry too much, this is just like my mother, she can't resist a bargain on bog roll!! I think at one point we had 8 x 12 packs on top of the cupboard in the upstairs hallway, 3x12 packs in her bedroom, 1x12 pack in the bathroom and a massive binliner of rolls in the attic
:rotfl: :rotfl: it's the only thing she hoards too!0 -
OMG, I so need to join that thread! :rotfl:
Me too. I wanted to have midnight feasts in a dormitory full of other girls, sounded like great fun!
I'm glad it's working for you! Hopefully the spots etc are only temporary, I look forward to seeing how my skin looks in a week or two.
I so need to get rid of my blackheads too, any tips ladies????
Oh yes, I forgot to say - I'm thinking of having my teeth whitened. I am a bit  about the price, but my eBay sales have been going soooo well lately (see sig) that I think I should treat myself. Has anyone else had it done? I'll be going to my dentist obviously but am a bit scared of the bleaching process i.e. will it hurt? Thanks in advance xo
p.s. going to put £1.66 in the pot for the P&P body serum as that's what I paid.
Don't know about getting rid of blackheads - i always feel like I want to scrub my skin with a flannel to get rid of them but thats probably not the best way :rotfl:
And as for the teeth bleaching - ooooo i want i want!! have you spoken to the dentist about it - they might be able to give you some more detailed and in depth information and maybe they could let you speak to someone who has already had it done? let us know what you choose to do!0 -
RebeccaBloomwood wrote: »Well I like to use wash-off foamy gelly face washes because I have oily skin and it's the only way I feel properly clean. However, I often find they make my skin feel tight or dry and flaky. The BS Passionfruit cleansing gel doesn't.
It doesn't make any fancy claims like pore shrinking or spot fighting or blackhead clearing, it just CLEANS. But it does all of those things anyway because just the act of cleaning your face goes a long way towards achieving clear skin.
And it smells gorgeous.
And it's £3.99 and often on BOGOF :j
I agree the passionfruit smells lovely, but the main reason I use it is because it doesnt irritate my sensitive skin at all, yet leaves it feeling clean - with no tightness.
I've used it to wash all the kids faces since they were little and also use it as a personal cleanser instead of soap if I need to freshen up down there!XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Yey! I got a free sample of the satsuma body butter today from TBS. Was feeling really fed up due to annoying people in the office, so went out to cheer myself up. Took the tester up to the counter and the nice lady spooned me some out into a tiny jar.
Now I smell lovely and am cheered up. Is this an IN? I'm not counting it as it was therapy!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

I loved these and also The Naughtiest Girl, Faraway Tree and Mystery books.
I keep seeing an omnibus of 'The Wishing Chair' in one of our local charity shop and have almost bought it a couple of times - but I don't want to be disappointed reading it as an adult:rotfl:
Quiet day for me so far - fell down the stairs earlier (just a couple of bruises - nothing broken) so am going to have a long soak tonight.(maybe in OH's 'magic spa soak' :rotfl:) I feel all grimy as well as I didn't wash my hair last night due to falling asleep in the bath
A slap on the wrist for me for not saying hello to bargainbetty :hello: I am :o:rotfl: at your loo roll hoard - my mum doesn't have that much in stock and she runs two holiday cottages :rotfl::rotfl:

I don't use it too often but sometimes you feel as if you don't want to slather moisturisers on your body after a bath or shower but want your skin to feel clean and dry. Talc gives you that feeling.
Also good to sprinkle in shoes and on your feet to dry them off before putting socks on.
If, like me, the Boob Fairy visited you, it's great for sprinkling under boobs on a hot day to stop that horrible sweaty feeling you get from skin that is never exposed to air and light.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Also forgot to say hello to bargainbetty, I think - anyone who has a 36 roll stash is in the right place here .. I have the equivalent of 8.5 rolls currently in and I live with my adult son.
Which reminds me of two jokes:
Joke A) How many men does it take to change a loo roll?
JokeWhat's the difference between a man who changes the loo roll and a unicorn?
