1 more UU - big botle of Johnsons Holiday Skin WIBIA - possibly yes if I saw it on offer.
Still checking the ACM for the deodorant offer, so far no luckLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Just popped in for a catch up
No UU to report but no ins either so all good:D
Have had a break out today of 3 very red, very large, very painful lumps:eek: one on my chin  on on my hair line:eek: and one on my neck  Off to see if I can get rid.....with my stash I must have something that'll do the trick :eek:
ps. with all the talk earlier about the elastizer hair stuff, does anyone know if it's possible to get a sample from anywhere as my hair and scalp are so greasy/sensitive it's a nightmare finding stuff that I dont react to:mad:Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies

two UU's today
Capasal shampoo - i HATED this so much it smells like creosaut (sp?). I've used the excuse that it's 2 years out of date, it does actually have a date on it, and that i've just bought the nizorelle stuff. Life's too short i've decided to use it once a month just so it gets used up.
Simple Baby talc - Yes i WBIA, i seem to use almost one tub a month so any stash i have won't last long. Wish i could get more of the cussons ones which were almost 500g for £1 but haven't seen them anywhere for ages.
It's not fair our Boots doesn't have one of those AC machines, I asked if they planned to get one and they said no there's not enough space in the store.0 -

In my defence, it was 2 third off vouchers for bubble bath from my Mum's acm card which gave me two bottles of Radox for a massive 66p
Also bought two bottles of Pantene on BOGOF plus 25% off (another voucher) so another £3.05, but these are going into my for sale stash so will hopefully be cancelled out soon.
Oooh off to the naughty step (PS which bubble baths did you buy, was it the Radox?):D I have been umming and ahhing over that offer....maybe it's ended and I'm safe....I did spend most of Jan on the naughty step
Does anyone know if those vouchers are valid on Sanctuary bubble bath - although of course they are posh and call it bath float or something, LOL!
Thank you to Adilade for the Body Shop info - it's always interesting to know what goes on 'behind the scenes'!! I must be the only person who actually likes the blueberry so maybe they'll drag it out again for the next sale....:o
No one has reported and BS outlet stores so I'm guessing they are few and far between...Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
I actually did a really girly "clap hands with excitement" when I read about Roshy planning to go to Oz. So very exciting. Let's hope all plans fall into place.
I have hit a wee snag with my minimalist purchasing.
Having unearthed a nearly empty Mitchum, my son has twigged its an unperfumed one and started using it.
I had also bought shower gel last month that would probably see the year out, bearing in mind what I already have. One of them is an OS Lemon and Tea Tree. I'd bought it just for me, as far as I could see my son never used it previously. Except that now he does, it would appear.
It could be that he is finding the tea tree in the OS gels beneficial as having almost used up the Mint and Tea Tree, he's moved on to this. Oh expletive.
Luckily having won 200 ml of bath and handwash gel that I shall use as shower gel I should be fine, but I do love my OS stuff!
He's got a full Radox eucalyptus and something 2 in 1 hair/body shower gel, plus a Stig from Top Gear shower/bath gel BTW.
If I asked him about any of this, his jaw would hit the floor that I was being so petty and selfish, so I shall shut up.
I can remember going off on one when I was between jobs and he used my stuff, and quite rightly too. But now I think - nah I KNOW - that I earn more than he does.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
There is a BS Outlet at the designer outlet in York. Not a BS fan so I don't know if the stuff they do is good or bad.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Hello all!
One IN to report (well, two) - Dove deodorants for 30p thanks to the ACM, paid for with points! I printed out lots of these vouchers, so will use them again. Do I need deodorants? No. Is this too good to pass up? Yes. My mum will talke some off my hands too. :T I also printed an ACM voucher for 200 pts wys £15 on skincare. Wonder if this can be used with the £5 skincare voucher??No shower gel vouchers for me today, maybe I'll be lucky next time.
Also one UU - my P&P body serum. WIBA - only if it was very cheap, I prefer the BS body butters. Now I need some advice, how much shall I put into the savings pot for it? The RRP (£25.75) or what I actually paid (£1.66)? I got it along with a Clinque moisturiser and a P&P eye cream for £5 in a charity shop (bargain of the year!). :j

Is this good stuff then? Not that I need any new face wash...Absinthe_Fairy wrote: »Sorry to hear about the job Roshy - but it sounds like things might work out for the best for you! I think going to Glasto first is a good idea - I went last year for the first time and loved it. Also gives you time to use up your stash before you go
I've been very good so far this month - but I think I may just have transferred my addiction. Has anyone heard of the Chalet School books by Elinor M. Brent-Dyer? They are school stories and were written from the 1920s-60s or thereabouts. There are over 50 in the series and I've been half-heartedly collecting them for a long time - this week I seem to have been pursuing this in earnest and have had 4 delivered already and another 4 winging their way to me!
I've also been deciding which toiletries to take to London, which to leave to use at home (most of my S&G lot) and which to leave for now and bring down later. I think the S&G Wash Almighty from the value pack is staying at home - I don't want my housemates thinking I wash in Fairy Liquid!
Never read these but I used to love St Clare's and Mallory Towers by Enid Blyton. Must check them out, thanks for the tip-off.
juliebunny - think the voucher is only valid on facial skincare but you could give it a go with the bath float
bunnykins - you can buy 20ml of Elasticizer for about £2.50 online to see if you like it, HTH.
roshy, YAY for you deciding to go to Aus and I totally think you should go to Glastonbury first! Lucky thing!

Oh, I forgot to say - I''ll be finished my S&G Wish Upon A Jar tomorrow night (21 days). I have to say, the skin on my forehead has never looked worse!!! It's literally been covered in little spots the whole time! My beautician friend reckons this is a good sign (i.e. skin renewing itself) but I can't wait to finish it! I really hope that there's an improvement afterwards. QONMW, how are you getting on with it? xo
Also, the blackheads on and around my nose seem to be getting more noticeable. I really hate them. How do I get rid of them???? *wails*Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
