erm i don't think they did - how bad is that i paid for one and never even collected my present from them :o i always shop BS online as the deals are so much better so never get around to going instore!

I was never asked for any ID when I opened mine but I'm not sure if you would have to present it to the till with your ard when you buy? I'm sure that they are just after you £5 for the card so won't really worry too much about when you claim it as you can only claim it once!

I used mine in January to get my birthday gift (my birthday was in January) and they didn't ask for anything, you do have to fill out a little box with your date of birth, so just make up one for January!

Quite a large Not - Bought - But - In to report: My weekly night out last night at my local live music club. We have a raffle every week for club funds and I am very, very lucky with it.
Last night I won again, :j I'd won a bottle of wine last week :D and the choice this week was between wine or a Boots Garden Collection Lavender Indulgence Set ... originally this was a tenner I think. The wine lost, chiefly because I'd had it the week before and the toiletries wouldn't have been a lot of use to quite a few people at the club.
It's a slightly odd mix of products, what I expected to be a tube of shower gel was actually a tube of handwash with screw on top - not very practical.
There'a a cute little guest soap, 25g, and a pot of 'body cream' which is very light, not like a butter at all.
A lavender flannel, the ubiquitous hand cream and a bottle of bath gel (will be used as shower gel, like the handwash) complete the set.
It will be going straight into use following PRCP.
10 years ago I'd have shuddered at lavender, but not now. It's my age... :D
My Virgin Vie Shower Juice and Virgin Vie cleanser came from the same source btw. Told you I was lucky.

    Hi mcculloch29 :)

I had a NPI with a lavender soap today at Crabtree. It was a small soap in the sale, about 85p I think in a pretty box, but when I opened it, it smelled of toilet freshener!! My friend and I at work decided that you have to be picky with lavender products as they are either really nice or awful!

Re the BS card - no they didn't give a hoot what I put on the form, I told the SA I was lying about my age and she just laughed. I did put the right month though - doh! Jan would have been wiser!

Noticed that the new March woman and home mag is out, with the free Crabtree lemon handcream voucher (subject to availability - how annoying if you bought it specially only to find out the store had run out). The mag is a bit steep at £3.70 and I priced the freebie at £7 on their website......hmmmmm.
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Body Shop passionfruit cleansing gel - WIBA? I couldnt if I wanted to as its discontinued. Luckily I've got 8 more bottles of the stuff :D It's my HG face wash and has been for ....oooooh..... about 15 years!

    Two throw-aways.....

Avon perfect wear extralasting eyeshadow - soft mint. WIBA - no, Whilst it does last, you could hardly see I'd put it on in the first place. Not sure I liked the cold feeling when I put it on either as its more like a cream rather than a powder.

Models prefer lip-pencil - part of a set of 4 I got for xmas. This one smells rank!!!! _pale_

I don't think the passionfruit cleansing gel has been discontinued- you can buy it online and as far as I know it's still in the shops. It's my HG too so you worried me when I read your post! But I've checked online and it's still there.

@rosemary54 Thanks for that, consumerpulse sounds like my kind of thing:rotfl:Will check it out later when I have time. I've never had a Pinecone invite. Toluna is the one I've been doing best with, I hate it but the Amazon vouchers are great when they eventually arrive.

I have a confession to make....I spent actual cash today :naughty:

In my defence, it was 2 third off vouchers for bubble bath from my Mum's acm card which gave me two bottles of Radox for a massive 66p :)

Also bought two bottles of Pantene on BOGOF plus 25% off (another voucher) so another £3.05, but these are going into my for sale stash so will hopefully be cancelled out soon.

I think I have found my spiritual home.....

Can I join? I did a tidy up over the snowbound days in December and found enough stuff to fill two archive boxes. I've been doing quite well at UU (ooh, jargon) but struggle to not buy new smellies when i fancy a treat!

I'll do my list, and be back.... apologies for the mid-month hijack, but I've only just found you!
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
