Re the Body Shop ranges that are being dicontinued - what I want to know, is what happens to all the stock they had on the shelves a few weeks ago? Do they send them to the Outlet stores or what?
They must have tons because nothing online ever seemed to sell out? I guess they just re-package the gift sets of current items and crank the prices back up judging from what's now out in my local BS.

On that note, does anyone know any BS outlets? The only one I know is Clarks Village in Somerset which is a long way from me. :( I need something in London/Essex/Herts type area please!:)

@rosemary54 I :heart2: how you get the most amazing value with the GWP's, very MSE. I remember you said ages ago that you do loads of surveys. Any tips for this? I updated my list of survey sites last night but I make hardly nothing compared with you. Do you spend loads on time on it?
I did sign up with loads of sites but some only send very few surveys and dont pay much, toluna is one such and I get so annoyed with them as you answer lots of ?s then they say you are not wanted:mad:....some really good ones are ipsos, mysurvey, pinecone(pays money into paypal same day you do the survey and also sends stuff for you to trial) and consumerpulse....this last one pays you for telling them what you buy on items like beauty(:rotfl:)clothes, books 500 points a week plus up to 20 times 500 points a month and sometimes extra points (500 =50p)
I do spend too much time on surveys but if I can make some money at home in my spare time then why not:rotfl:

just been to the docs so aching tummy where she proded me and asked is this still tender???
although the test proved neg she still thinks the problem was the chicken, there have been quite a few cases in our village (pity no one is taking note of what was eaten)and also she read that you can pick up the bug from the wrapper on the chicken so what chance do we have?
Sadly I will have no come back on the store I bought it from but I feel strongly something should be done as 75% of birds having bugs that can potentially kill people is unacceptable.I will be writing to my MP and the health minister(who actually is mp in the next ward so could be eating from the same store as me:rotfl:) and maybe Hugh,Jamie and Gordan as they were so concerned for chicken health a while ago

@rosemary54 Thanks for that, consumerpulse sounds like my kind of thing:rotfl:Will check it out later when I have time. I've never had a Pinecone invite. Toluna is the one I've been doing best with, I hate it but the Amazon vouchers are great when they eventually arrive.

  • Body Shop Body Butters are amazing. I love the coconut one, the smell always makes me think of holidays and it's really nice and moisturising. The only one stopping them from being my HG body lotion/butter/cream over Palmer's Cocoa Butter is the price.

No UUs to report, but I have made the decision that the next few days are going to be Bath Week - I'm moving to London in April and whilst my boyfriend does have a bath in his flat it's not the nicest, so I want to get my bath stuff used before I go. Plus they're a quick UU hit (it normally takes me one bath to use a ballistic and two to use a bubble bar slice), which seems like cheating but if it gets things gone then that's better than them sitting round gathering dust and losing their smell.

Roshy, Clarks village is in Street which is next door to Glastonbury. Maybe when you go for the festival, you could swing by Street on your way home and not buy anything? :rotfl:. (Sorry!)
I don't like the shop at Street, in fact, I don't actually like TBS products much at all. Maybe it's the having to work through a vanilla set which smelled like playdough? I can't think of anything there which would tempt me to shop there, espescially as I lurve sanctuary products so much. I think there is much nicer, much cheaper stuff in B**ts so I will continue to shop there (when the stash has gone!) and collect my AC points. Other than that, I shall just keep tarting around.
I had a really scaly forhead the other night (nice :rotfl:) but I seem to have got rid of it this morning. Used my Olay stuff and then put the No7 night cream on. I no longer look like a dragon :D

    Hello everyone

Well my stash is getting smaller, particularly my work stash is now much smaller. I have the Avon cashmere soft foundation (mmm ok so far), a L'oreal powder, Laura Geller blusher (damn that's not in my stash list!) and a lovely MUA lipstick. That's the only MUA £1 range in Superdrug that I've liked!

    I will MSE stylee::money:
    - make use (tomorrow) of the Debs Clinique gift with purchase to get my spot clearing gel. Will have to give away the mascara as I dont like those. Looks like it includes a lipgloss which after my disappointing No7 shannigans will be welcome.
    - try and make use of the Telegraph offer - to get my spf seaweed from body shop. Mmm wonder if they are 3 for 2 at the moment?

    I am struggling:
    - to use up Palmers Cocoa butter - its been years since I've used it and the formulation has defo changed. The smell is more chemically and the texture is different. I've got 2 big pumps of this stuff. So I will gift one of those immediately. The lesson all the while is buy (or ask to be gifted) stuff you love and enjoy. I felt bad saying to OH urrgh this is horrible.:o

Overall today I feel brighter and that I'm beginning to win this war on stash. That adding a pound for every use up is also helping. And less clutter is a big bonus. Just need to stay focused and not be naughty!:rotfl:
