Two mascara u/u for me this weekend: Avon Supershock mascara and a L'oreal mascara (the one with white at one end and black at the other). Both went cloggy and I could hardly see them on. (But isn't it funny how even an "empty" mascara can leave you with a big dirty mark if you miss your eye!!):( WIBA - no, both quite ordinary. Memo to self: stick to Max Factor for mascaras.
Another u/u. A beige lipgloss that was so old the writing on the tube had worn off!Got plenty more.
In's: Aldi's concealer (? Lacura) which I have heard good reports about. Used it this morning and it did a good job.
In no 2: Avon moisuristers, one rich for nights, one light for under makeup. HUGE jars @ £2.10 EACH. Bargain! :j
In no 3: Collection 2000 nail narvish in blue. Looks more like turquoise and not a lot different from Rimmel Green with envy. But under two quid so that's all right then!:D0 -
Oh, re: storage of stash, at the moment mine all lives in a cupboard in the bathroom (apart from the perfume which lives in one of my desk drawers). However when I move out it will all be going in a big Lush hatbox from a couple of Christmases ago and anything that doesn't fit in there will probably have to live in the cupboard.minerva_windsong wrote: »
Bronnie, is the half price hand cream deal on in Body Shop stores? I've been tempted by the Hemp Hand Protector for a while, especially as my current hand cream is starting to run out, but am dithering between that one and a couple of others and am going store-wards later this afternoon so might swing by and pick some up...
QUOTE]
No it's online only, but it automatically adds free delivery on all orders and 12% cashback if you use quidco, so better off ordering online
30ml tubes are £2.50 instead of £5 and 100ml tubes £5 instead of £10!

It's very economical and effective. I tend to use it morning and night with normal handcreams/moisturisers in between times to use them up! Think the half price offer ends 25th feb, not sure about when free delivery ends.
HTH
Thanks for thatHmmm, might have to have a think then, especially seeing as it's free delivery, as I'm dithering between that, Neutrogena Norwegian Formula and S&G Hand Food as my next hand cream. I have the hemp lip balm from the Body Shop though and find it to be very good for my chapped lips so have high hopes for the hand cream.

I think it depends if your hands really need an intensive product or not. If it's just everyday normal use, you could get more pleasure from something more fragrant and beautiful! This has quite a "treatment" feel to it!0 -

Some UU's to report!
Finally, the OS Lime and Sweet Chilli Shower Spice from their Gourmet range. :j
WIBA? No. Most unusually for me with OS. I liked this just enough to keep using it, but the sweet chilli gave it a slightly musty note, I thought, not very attractive really. The OS standard lime is much nicer.
Second UU Son's Imperial Leather Foamburst Black Mint gel that he had left lying around the bathroom for weeks after it spluttered.
WIBA? No for me, this is very masculine, son bought it and he has OS Black Mint to replace it.
Still to use up in the shower gel line:
About 45 ml of BS White Musk
C. 280 ml Virgin Vie Shower Juice.
About 50 ml of a glittery Baylis and Harding Bath and Shower Gel that I discovered at the back of my bathroom storage this morning.Ancient but unopened so may be OK.
C. 200 ml OS Lemon and Tea Tree. Nabbed back from son.
60 ml Boots Botanics something or other.
A full 250 ml OS Shea and Honey shower cream
A total of c 180ml Lavender hand wash and bubble bath being used as shower gel.
Plus a whole litre of Radox bath soak that can be used as shower gel when poured on to a body puff.
And a Non Bought In: An 8ml sample sachet of Sanex SG. Free with Prima.
Another Non Bought In. The Tresemme 8 ml shampoo and conditioner also free with Prima this month.
8ml, hmm? 10 ml sachets do my fine, collar - length hair for two washes, not sure if 4 ml per wash will be enough.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I've no uus to report. But since I have been using LEs foot scrub on my feet my feet are much smoother. Am using the boots body butter atm too which I am enjoying using. I have the vanilla flavour and it smells lovely.
Does anyone know of a good body scrub for the knees? Noticed that mine are looking a bit dark and dry.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -

Welcome ... as a relative newbie myself I'll just say that this is one of the most friendly and supportive threads, nobody seems to mind the odd wander off topic, so many people willingly give of their time to answer the questions of others, or to track something down.
It's a place to double joys and halve burdens, too, as I've discovered, by sharing both good news and bad.
Many of the posters have listed what they own - and usually shocked themselves - as part of the 'therapy' of not buying toiletries that you really don't need and can't honestly justify purchasing in any way.
'Not buying' doesn't mean not using of course - if you have come across something good we love to hear about it!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
