It's body brushing and using a body puff with ordinary shower gel rather than scrubby ones. I also use Silkymitts to sandpaper my legs.

Well, that's what it is. :D

Really I should save money by buying very fine grade sandpaper instead of Silkymitts. I bet someone, somewhere will have tried it :D

My ex OH used to do my feet with sandpaper:rotfl: It was lovely. He'd do all around the heel and any hard spots on my big toe, then he'd slather them in lotion for me. He turned out to be a complete **** but his foot treatments were AMAZING!!!!!!

am I the only one not to have been sent the Olay freebie?:(

just heard Zoe Ball is on instead of Ken Bruce this week:(:(:(enough to make me switch to classic fm!!!

    Hi Rosemary,

No, I don't have one either, but then I didn't ask.... I've got more than enough to be going on with.

Have to be honest, I gave up on Radio 2 about a month after Sir Terry of Wogan left..... I couldn't be doing with Shouty Evans in the morning, so switched to Radio 4 and I get to listen to James McNaugtie saying rude words instead.

Managed to use up the travel size Sanctuary Bath Soak over the weekend, and have agreed to give my mum the bottle of Nulon I have, as she uses it all the time, and mine will be there until I retire at this rate. One UU and one OUT! WIBA? I will buy more Sanctuary stuff, but only once I have used up all the stuff I have. Nulon - no, it didn't suit me, hence the mostly unused bottle.

I've not bought anything since joining the challenge, and I'm aiming to get through the whole of March as well without spending anything if I can! I had another good look at the boxes and shelves over the weekend, and I think I can do it, as long as the willpower stays firm!

Have a great Monday everybody - only five days till the weekend x
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

UU Asda Sensitive Whitening toothpaste. I have 7 more in stock:o but we've now moved on to the tube DS picked up in Boots. He won't do that again now I've revealed the stash to him!

I've relegated my mini Flake Away to hands and feet use. I really don't like the texture:( its like sandy lard. I've got some Scrub Of Your Life on its way as from the description it sounds more like my sort of scrub.

:(not had that one...aren't they painful to use?

I must be a sucker for pain - can't use it on my legs much/underarms at all but find it not too bad on my bikini line :rotfl: I don't think it really hurts that much there - but then again I don't find any bikini waxes hurt as much as others make out? :o

I'm looking forward to using this one as it has a Venus razor on it so it gets the bits that you have missed - interesting!!

    It is quite orange! :rotfl:

    Right, bit of a dilemma! I've saved some money in my paypal acc by ebaying to buy myself a little treat! But what to get! I've narrowed it down to either;

Benefit One Hot Minute face powder
    Benefit Georgia face powder
    Benefit Girl Meets Pearl
    Benefit Get Even blotting powder

I'm a benefit addict so here goes... :o

I've found that Georgia is a face powder - it won't give you a colour!!! I use it as a face powder anyway - comes out a lot lighter than it looks :o Get even is the same IMO, a face powder rather than a blush/bronzer

One hot minute is more bronzer but it is slightly messy - I would recommend Dallas instead if you want to go 'bronze', 10 is quite good too for introduction or even Sugarbomb for a warming colour. Can't say that I've bought it, but I have tried Girl Meets Pearl - trying to be good and use up my make up stash before buying it! :rotfl: but IMHO I've tried the Primark version and found it as good as the Benefit one...surprisingly!!

One UU over the weekend - a bottle of St Tropez that I got a while back reduced to c.£5 in Sainsburys (thanks Grabbit!!!) WIBA Well at this price it would be rude not too :rotfl: but have another 2 bottles left from this glitch and have Vita Liberata and some others to use up - think it might be gone by August when I leave :rotfl:

No UU for me yet but think I'll have to throw this moisturiser out on my desk - its refusing to run out!! I have today until Friday to use it and its almost taunting me!!

Have a good day ladies xx
  • I agree with roshydoshy about the benefit products - I am not a bronzer person due to being super-pale but I use Sugarbomb as my everyday blusher and have found that it does warm my skin up, so I'd recommend that. My sister who has a slightly darker skin tone than me uses Dallas to get a similar effect.

Bronnie, is the half price hand cream deal on in Body Shop stores? I've been tempted by the Hemp Hand Protector for a while, especially as my current hand cream is starting to run out, but am dithering between that one and a couple of others and am going store-wards later this afternoon so might swing by and pick some up...

In other news, I'm really disappointed with the new formulations for Lush bath products - they don't seem to really smell of anything. I bought my Waving Not Drowning back in September but didn't use it until a few weeks ago, and it still smelt really strong when I put it in the bath. But the Christmas and Valentine's stuff I've used up so far has disappointingly smelt of nothing in the bath (although it does smell a bit on me - I used half a Bearded Lady bubble bar this morning and can smell a kind of powdery scent on my arms - but I want to be able to smell it in the bath too!).
My question is how much body scrub do you use in one wash/bath?

Tough to say accurately - normally I just drag my finger round the pot until I get to a point where I can't get any more out, and I normally do that two or three times to get my whole self scrubbed thoroughly. But then I admit to being a !!!!less user-upper (I'm the girl who'll use shower gel by hand rather than in a shower puff, because I use two squirts if I do it by hand rather than one with the puff so it gets used up twice as fast - I'm sooo not patient enough to do it any other way!) so I may not have the best advice...

No it's online only, but it automatically adds free delivery on all orders and 12% cashback if you use quidco, so better off ordering online

    30ml tubes are £2.50 instead of £5 and 100ml tubes £5 instead of £10!

It's very economical and effective. I tend to use it morning and night with normal handcreams/moisturisers in between times to use them up! Think the half price offer ends 25th feb, not sure about when free delivery ends.

Most of my stash is in s&g hatbox / tote bag plus a few gift sets etc. which are just piled on top!

Have put a few S&G bits on ebay that I'll not get round to using for ages / i'm not overly keen on as other bits I have to use, so will have about 10 OUTS to report soon :D

  • :jHave been dipping in and out for about 12 months. I am desperately trying to whittle my stash down to a more acceptable level. Seem I have the same problems with books, bags and cleaning materials, I am just a hoarder, there I have said it. I don't even get the satisfaction of finishing a product because I know I have got loads more of whatever I have just have just finished IYKWIM.

I suppose I am looking for my perfect product but can't resist an offer which leads me to my next question - one for MINEALLMINE where did you get your Collection 2000 Perfecting Mineral powder foundation from?

still on the compuer sorting out holiday stuff!
we plan to go to harrogate flower show and I had found a hotel with spa and tried to book through one site for a spa break of 1 night plus 1 night b&b.I was emailed to say the hotel was full for the 1 night b&B but 2 night breaks were ok at a cost of £470 for D,B &B,3 x half hour treatments each and light lunch .

I looked on the hotels own site and they still had B&B for the 2nd night at £149:eek::eek::eek: anyway after a lot of searching I finally found a deal for B&B through quidco (so 10% cashback) for £228:):):) so we can choose where to have dinner and also have 1 hour treatment we want rather than 3 smaller ones off a short list:j

p.s sort of to do with toiletires as is a spa break:rotfl:just shows you have to shop around tho,it is very time consuming but worth it.

anyone used carrentals before?the cheapest car hire they have is for 121 which I had never heard of but is £205 as oppossed to Avis £450:eek:
