I have a UU to declare :j
Lush Strawberry feels forever massage bar. WIBA? Probably it was good and smelt nice but I think it didn't absorb very well so may buy it again in winter as it may be too much for summer and definitely not before I have finished with all other body butters/ lotions I have got

I have an In and a UU to declare
As mentioned earlier in the week I've decided to be very :money:and have bought the John Frieda Foam HD from S*drug and done my hair tonight. It's not turned out as well as I'd hoped as I'd bought a mid blonde and my hair has turned out what feels like very dark brown:eek::eek::eek:. I think it's just the shock though as I'm naturally a mid blonde and just wanted to hide the grey. I'm not used to seeing myself with such dark hair but I think it will be ok when I get used to it so a spend of £2.49 on the HD and a saving of £57.50 as I usually pay the hairdresser 60 quid for highlights to hide the grey:D:D:D
All this and I'll bet no-one at work even notices tomorrow :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm not going to amend my in's or UU's in my sig as I think these cancel each other out - hope this is ok????????Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies

Fairtrade Fortnight is coming up at the end of the month and Tesco do a very nice Fairtrade cotton shopper with soft padded handles. They also did a lovely Orla Kiely bag in autumny colours around Christmas. Wasn't Fairtrade though.
I'm a shopper stasher too - bought two of the Boots Gorgeous ones over the last week (the ones with the bright pink insides) as they are reduced to £2I have bags everywhere but still forget to take them when I go shopping :rotfl:
going to watch Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior hope its as good as Criminal minds not happy that AJ Cook left and now Paget Brewster is going as well there will be nobody left before long. anyway have a good night ladies.
I'm just watching Series 4 of Criminal Minds now - what channel is the new one on? Though if everyone is leaving is it worth it? Mind you I thought that when Mandy P left
A couple of UU's and IN's for me:
UU's
Covergirl Lip Balm - WIBA? Well - not strictly a lip balm this was a top coat but was so softening that I've been using it as a lipbalm. I would buy it again but I wouldn't know where - got these in a joblot of 6 on eBay for pennies a couple of years ago - this was the last oneBS Cranberry Joy has replaced it as my bedroom lipbalm.
Timotei Cherry & Cotton Conditioner for Coloured Hair - WIBA? Yes - does the job, smells lovely.
IN's
3 Packs Boots Cucumber Wipes - I actually bought 6 packs as there's an offer glitch - so got 6 for £3.97but one pack has gone in the travel wash bag, one in the gift cupboard for DD and one in the doggy cupboard
so I'm only declaring 3
and I only bought them for when DD is here in hope she will actually take her make-up properly :rotfl:
Olay Regenerist 7ml sample - I don't feel left out now mine is here :rotfl:
My S&G Clean On Me is spluttering so will probably need a cleanser next week - will probably go for Aldi Lacura - or may have a rummage through DD's stash and find one she's abandoned
Have a good Friday :cool:0 -

Hi everyone
I had this (Olay) as a freebie on Tuesday - but not an IN as I didn't pay for it.
OUT - It is DD's birthday next Tuesday - she is in Liverpool now having got a new job. I sent her a shoe box of goodies including a Brand new unopened lipsalve and BS banana shampoo and conditioner from my stash as I know she loves those.
Oh forgot to say I used the Batiste dry shampoo the other day - it smelled lovely but had to make sure I brushed it all out very well as it made me look grey(er) Ha Ha! Anyway was very pleased with it - Thanks to all who recommended it. I used the new Brit one,
Still reading thru all the pages as have been working a bit more recently and not had the time to read.
Keep up the good work :T0 -

I used this stuff and got a real shock as it was blonde on the packet and turned my hair brown!! Luckily I quite liked it, but it was so different from the colour shown that I don't think many people will be rebuying this stuff.0 -
I've been posting toiletries reviews on Amazon in the hope they would offer me some in their Vine Voice review scheme (I get offered stuff for free if I review it.). Well, no toiletries, but from the Health and Beauty section I got offered a lot of baby stuff.
I've just ordered 72 nappies to be sent to my niece for her 9 mo. old daughter. Last month she got a pack of disposable changing mats which have made explosive nappies a lot easier to deal with (apologies if you are eating reading this.)
For me though, woo-hoo I have this arriving from this month's newsletter-:j :j :j :money: :money::j:j:jhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004J33VVE
It's a Hoover wet and dry cleaner. I have a Hetty, which is absolutely fantastic, but I haven't owned a wet and dry since I had one of the first Vax's 25 years ago.
Reminds me of my brother who is a bit of a tidy freak. A favourite family story is how he rang up his father in law who was overseeing a house move for him and asked him if he would Hoover the patio for him ...
Back to topic, I'm on using the Regenerist freebie. I see the instructions say to 'apply liberally'.
I hate cynical instructions like that, designed to get us to use more product than we really need to.
Anyone over a certain age, will remember that shampoo bottles always carried the instruction to 'rinse and repeat'. There's absolutely no need to ever do this, it was just a cynical ploy to get us to use more - and therefore, buy more. These days I wash very thoroughly with between 5 and 7 ml of shampoo per wash and it's always squeaky clean.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
OUT in this morning's bath - Lush Frog Prince bath ballistic. WIBA? Probably not as I felt it didn't really smell of much, which was quite disappointing as the description (jasmine and vanilla) sounded really lovely. It did make the water a fantastically bright green though!
ETA: Absinthe Fairy, when are you moving to London? I'm moving there myself in April as my work contract is due to end soon. Agree with juliebunny though that you will notice your skin gets dirtier, I always feel like I need a proper scrub and to wash my hair when I come back from visiting my boyfriend there because of all the pollution compared to my little Lancashire village! Also some of your products may work differently due to the hard water so be aware of that.bargainbetty wrote: »Which side of town are you moving to? I'm down in the South East, but work in Central, so if you are new in town I'd be happy to recommend places/stuff!
If you've been here a thousand times, I'll slink back under my rock and carry on exfoiliating madly.....
I'm going to be living in South East London (zone 2/3) but hopefully working in Central, so could I have some recommendations too please? I do go down there a lot but tips are always much appreciated!"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
