In fact after a huge drama over my tile delivery  it's actually a gain day as i got the Saturday delivery charge back :j (& i still get Saturday delivery as the woman at DHL was a total sweetheart :A & took pity on me when she realised i would have to cart 140 extra large tiles & 10 meters of trim on the bus & shoved it on the Saturday sheet without charging me!)

I think even you would have found that a bit of a challenge! Are you sure the DHL woman hadnt heard that you are a demon with a sledgehammer? :rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks Jinty and SF for the advise about the duvet - however given the time, I'm gonna take a chance and hope they still have them tomorrow morning :)

Gosh, Kerri, talk about life "on the edge" :rotfl:What some folk will do for a NSD!:rotfl:Hope you get them today!

    Good morning all

Thanks for the kippers Spoon, I'll look forward to a nice smelly parcel coming my way!
Today its the mystery shop from yesterday - I'll do my best to avoid spends - must get at least one NSD this week! I was going to buy a Valentine for my OH, but I will leave it tomorrow as I have spends.( Getting my hair done - at a salon no less!)
    So fingers crossed for today!

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

Cheryl - wow.. I love those whoopsies, that's a lot of cheese though
Ah, but the three specials (the stilton & apricot, the mexicana, and the choc and orange) go onto biscuits for supper, so they won't last all that long..... and as I already have the biscuits in the house (have had for an age) it's not costing me any extra for those for my suppers - and is actually helping me clear some cupboard space ;)

I also add a few small strips of the mexicana when making cheese on toast (with normal cheddar), which gives it a kick and removes the need to add brown sauce to it :)

Not counted, as the buyer has paid postage.

The only time I'd consider counting it were if I'd vastly underestimated the cost of postage, and it came to more than they'd paid for postage and the goods (which would leave me out of pocket).

  • Managed to have enough milk for breakfast today :). With my DH bringing me some. Today should be another NSD, won't declare it right now.

    Have a good day everyone

:rotfl::rotfl:yes my life is one wild rollercoaster!

Well the good news is the duvet was still available this morning so £27 spent on duvet and two pillows (going to collect from store so free 'delivery'). The bad news is that by 9.15am I was £54 pound lighter thanks to the vet bill  seriously, I was only in there for a couple of mins, one injection and a worming tablet.... Still at least that's done for another year and Skip can't go in the cattery without it being done (plus I'd never forgive myself if she caught something that could have been prevented)
