Hi all, Sorry I've not been around very much, life at work is manic and there's another week to go till half term. Exhausted and brain dead is a good description of me this week. Did I hear somebody say I'm always brain dead? shame on you.

I can't even recall if I've posted since Sunday but I know I've had 2 nsds this week. One on Monday and one yesterday. Rushes back to check. No, that takes me proudly to 4 nsds so far this month.

Today won't be a nsd as I need petrol so I'll get the grocery shop tonight instead of tomorrow.

Sadly not had time to check back on all the posts but will try to over the weekend. Have a good day all

    Good morning all!
No NSD yesterday as predicted, but small spends on a wee lunch, as previously reported and a congrats card for our DIL who passed her interview to be accepted for college. She is a great gal, a mum of four who is going "back to school" to study retail management. I take my hat off to her, I find it hard enough looking after me and OH:o
At last my days off have arrived - I'm going to catch up with some well overdue housework, and then I'm off to do my mystery shop.
Should manage a NSD today, if I keep my blinkers on when Im in town!;)
    Have a lovely day everyone:)

Wow have I really not been on for 4 days?? Surely thats not right ashamed0001.gif.........
Anyway by going back and checking I now remember I was at 3 nsd's on the 6th sooooooooooooo 7th was a spendy day, 8th was a NSD and 9th was a NSD but annoyingly today will be a spendy day as i will get the local paper and need some chips to go with dinner for tonight. So by my reckoning I am now at 5 NSD's
Hope you are a well, I think I have caught up on everything. I've been so busy with my new hours at work and in between times making more jewellery to add to my 'shop'. Sadly nothing has sold yet but its still early days so I'm not too upset..................yet. I did get an email from a lady asking if she could feature my purple bracelet in her blog so that boosted my confidence a bit (along with all the lovely comments from you guys happy0164.gif)
Today will be a lazy day of sorts, need to nip to get the paper and chips but other than that and a visit to a friend's house for the kiddies to play nothing is panned. Poor DS has a terrible cough so think it will be a chill out day for us!

Hi folks-another grey miserable day :( but I am happy to say that it's NSD 6 for me as I still have my kids off school and can't get out to the shops so that's my silver lining for today! :)
Am going to spend the morning looking at my bank account trying to work out how to make it all work as it doesn't seem to want to at the mo!

Elf06-your jewellery is lovely and if i have any spare cash will treat myself at the end of the month :)

I'm struggling a bit for inspiration just now :rotfl:. I have one more idea that I want to get done but I'm still waiting on the beads arriving.

  • Ok I am going to slink in head in hand - I need to stop my mini-spending (reduced food stuffs are my current sin)

Keiss has egged me on to join you all on here

Today will be my first nsd of the month

I hope to have 10 in total - I may need a fair bit of retraining! Please be kind with me.

The problem is that we live on reduced food - when I see it I buy it which can mean often daily spends - whilst this is how I do my food shopping for £150-200 a month (for 3 and a half of us and a dog) - but its clearly not healthy to spend everyday (or almost) as occassionally - there are non-reduced things that accidentally find their way into the car.

Hello! Been on here for years - slowly getting retrained but I need to stop my panic buying of milk/bread/meat/cheese just because its reduced - my freezer is bulging! I'm just scared I'll have to buy full price milk/bread/cheese again and that is a scary prospect.

Today will be a nsd - :) - got to post some sales tomorrow from amazon and my first vegetable seed sold today - so I'm trying to fathom the postage to see if I can use stamps from here and try to make tomorrow a nsd too.

    Baby steps.

Now I really must get off the 'puter and get some work done!

Not before declaring today as NSD no 7 though! I have had to stop myself spending online...so need to get off here asap!!!
