Not one for me today - needed things from Mr T's. It's been a strange day, bought back some uncomfortable feelings. :(

Do it! There's a few of us here over there too, so you'll recognise a few faces :D. You'll be enticed into shopping within your current wardrobe (pulling out the stuf from the back you forgot existed) and wearing them on "freedom" days to get into the habit of wearing what you've already got. And you get to "shop" through other people when we declare spends, which is always fun :D.

Yes, I must admit I've seen a few familiar faces while I've been lurking (and offering a few posts as well :)) I think I will join, just need to have a look through my spending diary from last year to see what I actually spent to give myself a realistic target. Know what you mean about wedding season, dresses can be so expensive - which is why I'm REALLY hoping the e$ay one fits me as it will do for both weddings this year, and a Christmas do if we have one.

i love the idea of the freedom days - deff feeling more inspired - just need a good ole sort through (I would say I don't have loads of stuff but you'd never believe me :rotfl:) I was putting some bits away that I got in the Jan sales and found a grey cardigan in the bag I'd already forgotten about

  • NSD #1 today, I did get tempted by my 20p mixup tradition but I only had a £10 note. When I started scraping around for change, I found a bag of crisps and had them instead! Not quite what I intended but it's worth the warm fuzzy feeling of saying no :)
    Thank you competition posters!

    Helloooooo! It's me!!!!

Back again, flushed with success with getting 14 out of 14 NSDs for January, and looking forward to February's challenge.

And it certainly will be a challenge because I originally signed up for 10 NSDs, but Mistress Spoon has upped that to 14 on the front page (the woman's a sadist, what does she think I am capable of?)

Trouble is, as it's 14 down there in black and white, I can't wimp out, can I? The Nargle doesn't do wimpy!

So, deep breath in, here goes .....sign me up for 14 please for February!

The first will be sometime at the weekend, but hopefully the rest can be achieved. Well, it can. I think. Oh, let's look on the bright side, at least it's my money I'm saving!

Oops... sorry Nargle, think I got confused:o:o:o If you want to go back to 10 I'll change it no problem, you can always "secretly" aim for 14 and get 2 prizes this month (after all, that's what Tixy is doing:D).

Let me know what you want to do.

  • Hi all

Not had the chance to catch up with 7 pages, read the last one, so huge hugs to slowly and jinty who both sound like they're having a tough time. Hugs here for anyone who needs one

Not a nsd as it's salsa tonight, but a low spend day as that's all I spent money on.

Short day at work tomorrow so coming home for a sleep. Maybe a nsd tomorrow.

    Good luck one and all
