Mrs B - I agree it isn't fair but simmering just breeds negativity and encourages the black dog to visit. Need to decide if you should discuss it and force things to change, or accept that he is the way he is and just get on. I realised a long time ago that I was doing myself no good, the house was still a mess and I was wasting energy seething.

Huge hugs for you, whatever you decide to do. It is an utterly infuriating situation to be stuck in.

Mrs B I agree with Hex, seething does you no good, i know I was fairly apt at it lol it's got to be either foot down and get them all tellt, or accept that's the way it is xx

Juliejim I've scrolled and scrolled and can't find the post telling us of OH's new job, a case of can't see for looking but anyway, I'm so pleased for you all xx

Text DIL GD a little better than yesterday, so that's good any improvement is a good thing, she sent DS1 home but she hasn't slept a wink, she's gonna keep me informed.

I've hung up all my clothes that were just piled in the bottom of my wardrobe, I never seem to get round to it but it's done now, i'm a bugga for it :o loaded the DW but the kitchen needs S&Sing and checked on the rabbits, I feel a bit helpless just sitting here and I'm not quite sure where to put myself, hopefully littley will text soon to be picked up from her sleepover, that'll keep me occupied as we'll go and pick up her uniform she left at her nanas and go to the shop.

    hi all
I've not posted but have been slowly fluttering, and DH has been doing more than his fair share. I managed to do the bathroom earlier in the week and he did the kitchen yesterday. Need to dyson through today and empty the bins, that will probably be the extent of it for us.

Little one is napping so I have half an hour max to get some breakfast and fold up the washing. A few other jobs I need to do still:

Pack away clothes he's grown out of
    photograph mat clothes for sale
scan and email bf leaflet to sister
send bf stuff and bras to sister
    shred reciepts
ask dh how much I have left in grocery budget
    meal plan for this week
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j

  • morning all,
embb - glad your gd is picking up
poohbear - glad your son is feeling better
juliejim - great news about the job!

Take it easys and get wells to anyone who needs them...

Made a dent in the lists on Friday and want to at least get kitchen straight and meal plan done today to give myself a headstart tomorrow for shopping trip. Grey and rainy here today so won't be going out for a walk just yet. Could do with it to clear my head - will have to take it out on the kitchen (wise words, hex2). So far WM / TD / fire cleaned out and lit / beasties fed / breakfast then start on kitchen...

Agree completely but just sometimes I do have a wee meltdown at them all (roughly every 26 days :rotfl:) and they spring into action for HH.

    Not just me then :o

    Made a start this morning
    WM on
    DW emptied
    DS3 homework supervised
    DS2 bed stripped

Just going to make some bread and then head off for a shower.

    Plan:
    Clean bathroom
more tidying/decluttering in the family room/my desk
    Squash match
    ironing
    Polish shoes
Boys to all tidy their rooms as it is an upstairs week for me this coming week.

Toots and LL love for you both

Well for the first time in ages I have woken up on a Sunday to a tidy kitchen with dishes stacked neatly in DW:D

Flying commences at 1030 am however have to admit I have been fluttering on and off since I got up

    Today I will
declutter all visible areas [not ready to tackle drawers/cupboards yet!]
    and batch cook for week.

    house is looking better already:cool:

That's brilliant. Great way to brighten a dull morning. Off to declutter the kitchen. May locate an apple but don't have to worry about blackberries:D
