I need to cut the dead leaves off. The wind at least seems to be drying out the mud so maybe get a chance if things calm down. So do I, Tuesday forcast is for sun here so hoping to have an entire day in the garden waiting for DH to arrive home:j

I also made coconut macaroons, florentines and banana muffins - of which there are 5 muffins left! I made muffins too and am planning macaroons for Monday after I've been shopping

Healing thoughts for your GD Embb she will be back causing chaos in no time :)

Right today Me and DH have gone mental. Not only have we sorted our RoD so that everything has a place and now it's in it :j- needs a good hoover but it's as decluttered as its gonna get without buying a new bookcase (tempted the old one is falling apart!)
Got all my craft bits and bobs into the cupboard apart from the sewing machine :j

But we emptied all the wardrobes. The draws and attacked the laundry mountain. It was a clothes massacre!

Sorted into Charity shop. Attic for future use. and What we wear now.
OMG:eek: the extra big black bin bags bought for the purpose - well two of them are toooooo heavy to lift with charity shop stuff!!!
mostly things in a size 10 (Like I've ever gonna see that again!)
One HUGE bag for the attic and everything else actually fits in the draws and the wardrobe. Heck we even removed the storage boxes from under the bed! Clothes emptied and sorted!

Storage boxes can be used for further decluttering in the garage - but not this weekend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You ladies have a [STRIKE]good[/STRIKE] bad influence on me! I mean c'mon, cleaning?? on a weekend?? :T

    oh EMBB

you were on my mind today - how odd

hope GD is fine - in my thoughts and hopes...

been to Morrisons and got two bags of marmalade oranges reduced to 49p a bag. I stood over the lad while he reduced them, they had been marked down from £1.49 to 99p and I stood there, bold as brass, (15 mins before closing) and said - are these going to be reduced any more? (clearly has NO SHAME). One lot simmering now;)
