My nail lady (Y'all remember Sally?) is going for her 7th attempt at IVF next month so fingers crossed this is it for her.. I told her she can be all pessimistic and I will be all positive for her... I need someone to offload my baby stuff onto :p

Nixie.. I've had more than my share of losses too (I have pretty much lost count TBH and I don't even remember the dates they happen/were due any more).. I am now at the point where I expect it to happen so don't even get remotely into the idea of a baby until about 16 weeks.. These things sadly, do happen.. though.. if it happens again DEMAND genetic testing and for them to check shape of uterus and hormone levels etc. It may be due to a very simple fixable thing. Life has a habit of throwing $h!t at us at the best times. You'll get there :D

Off to see DD2's and DS3's tutors today 12 and 12:15.. should be interesting.. having a cuppa then I'll feed Shreks baby and wash my nits and then dash off.. I have a tesco run to do too as the cupboards are bare and school run at 3.. so all in all a fairly full day

Taking advantage of the breezy day and hanging the washing out. whether it's still there when I go to get it in, it could be halfway to France...

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes! Having a nice day so far and now got the house all to myself as DD at school, DS at pre-school and DH at nursery. Just finishing my vacuuming shortly, then do my ironing, put up wet washing to dry which is in the WM as we speak and I'm all done :j:j. I'm away for the weekend (back in the evenings as couldn't justify spending lots of money on a hotel when it's only 20 mins drive away!) so looking forward to that.

Paulies_Nixie, I agree with what Pigpen said. I had 3 recurrent losses and after that you can be checked over - the thing is when I went for my appointment with the consultant I was 5 and a bit weeks pg with DS. They gave me progesterone to take each day up until 12 weeks with the idea this could help - and it did to great effect (he's now 4!) Just take time, make sure you recover physically and emotionally as it takes more out of you than you know.

Poohbear59, I hope your DS is OK, big hugs to you.

Orkney Star, hope your back gets better soon; it's so miserable having permanent back ache.

Sockdrawer, I'll join you for HHC.

:oafter closing the door to the house (and mess in the kitchen) this morning and on my way to work thinking of all the things I need to do by Sunday night I realised that... I haven't been flying for a long time and I really want to get sorted and into good routines before #2 arrives in July.

Tonight I'm going to do a quick whizz round the house and get back to tackling one area each day with you. I'm off on Wednesdays so can do a more detailed clean then and hopefully progress from level 1 to level 2 and even level 3 cleaning before the baby arrives. Longer term I'm hoping to manage a 15 minute level 1 clean before I leave the house and then do a level 2/3 clean when I get home on an evening.

When my daughter has her nap tomorrow lunchtime I'm going to go through her old clothes in the attic to see what can be resused for #2, given away and there are definitely some clothes that should be thrown away so I'll make a start on those!!

    hello fellow flyers
having only just got into flying i'm using the American plan at the moment.
as a big facebook fan i have them on there, but want i want to know is the a UK version of flylady that i'm missing.
it can get a bit like a bible study group on the USA one at times.
    Ta Julia.

    Hi, and welcome!!

First off.. you do NOT get bombarded with mindless sterile spam/junk/rubbish Nor passages from the Bible.. though if you want to share please do :D

US version doesn't have Toots in any guise, nor does it have me! :D

We do what we can and do not feel guilty about the things we can't.

And best of all... We are more personal, have a genuine rappor and mutual appreciation that we are all in the same boat/sink/toilet/bucket with personal support through life trials ..just read this one thread that is evident.
