so damn fed up with the mess!

    Morning, Wilf! It's after 10.45

My mum's had similar work done: her house was rewired as well (wires chased into the plaster) and she's still complaining about the dust. Our flat was rewired using surface mounted conduit and had double glazing... and, despite clearing as much as possible and utilising plastic boxes to protect the rest are - guess what? still finding pockets of dust and rubble.

So I think my advice is: declutter, box up as much as you can in stackable boxes and remember that council dust sheets are axactly that: sheets full of dust:rotfl:

Thank you all. DH really wants to go too. It is really painful being here. It most probably isn't anything serious but it will be better for all of us to be there. We are in contact with him by text messaging but he is rigged up to heart monitors etc so not much fun for him.

I have decided we will go. :)
