ETA Can one take a sewing needle on a flight? Hubby insists not. Was planning to do some embroidery.
Unless things have changed, no you can't. Friend's son's ex-wife took her embroidery to do on her flight and had her needle confiscated.

    Happy Birthday to Mumof2 and DK's DS3.

Lauradora many congratulations on your Handfasting. :T:beer:
We had ours immediately after the "legal bit", at the start of the reception, just a simple ceremony that I wrote myself. And Nixie, tbh, who in their right mind wants to be skyclad in February??:rotfl:

Poohbear healing vibes for your DS - go and visit, I'm betting he'll be pleased that you went.

    Friday ~ Everything else!
    Level One
Declutter floors in childrens rooms, hall, stairs and landing All done as far as possible (stores + woodworking stuff in spare room)
Vacuum these floors Done by Mr LW; I've dusted using the duster-onna-stick as much as I can reach in the spare room, tho' prob a waste of time as Mr LW will (hopefully) be starting on the last door tomorrow (= LOADS more wood dust). The GOOD bit is that we can gradually start putting the machine tools back in the loft, as he finishes with them.
    Level Two
Strip some neglected sticky bedding N/A
    Sort through a box of toys/junk N/A
Organise a chest of drawers/wardrobe Deferred til I can access it all properly without tripping over a toolbox
    Level Three
Tidy up coats, bags and shoes.. throw away broken umbrellas! All tidy
Wash some grubby curtains Deferred til doors finished – these are actually on my “Toots OMG” list, as I need assistance to get them down/rehang them.
Wipe paintwork in a room you've not done this in for some time All been done, that I can get to, throughout bungalow.
    Extras
    1. Clean fronts and backs of 2 radiators Done
    2. Binbag dance Done
    3. Straighten a bookcase.. the books not the actual furniture! :p All straight and in alphabetical order; one of the LR bookcases slightly rearranged as some dragons have been moved around
    4. HHI Mr LW does ours on a Sunday; HHYoga will be done a little later, instead. I may even force myself to do HHExercise as well, while I have the Wii switched on!
Very much pacing myself today, as we have much to do over the weekend:
    • F&V run
    • New door to the spare room to be started (Mr LW)
    • Check greenhouse
    • Check over car (oil, tyres, wash bottle style of thing)
    • Ironing (nominally Mr LW, but if he's bogged down with the door, I'll do it)
    • Planning applications check (for CAMRA)
    • Weekly 'puter maintenance (defrag etc)
    • Baking - prob quite a bit, as the cake and biscuit tins are looking a tad depleted, also need to do a loaf and prob an apple pie/crumble
    • Fit in my yoga/other WiiFit+ and my Dr Kawashima's Brain Training somewhere
LOL It's starting to look like a "Toots OMG" list, isn't it... that's elsewhere, I haven't posted it in the Fred as yet!:rotfl:

ETA There's also the monthly Farmers Market to visit on Sunday - we get a month's supply of cheese at a time, among other things - so I'd better get the fridge scrubbed out today, as it'll be full to bursting after Sunday.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
