How did you get on LittleMissHappy and onestep?
I managed to get...
The kitchen floor brushed.
Bin emptied.
Sinks scrubbed.
Front door window washed (only the inside)
Dishes done by hand.
Think thats me done for tonight.....phewSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
How did you do vanilla and onestep? I actually spent the whole 30 minutes in the garage sorting stuff out and it looks a lot better
Thanks, hope you got done what you needed to as well x That is all for me for today...the house is remarkably tidy and I have also done some de-cluttering, so am going to settle down with a nice cup of chamomile tea and a good book

You're welcome, hun :A I did my HHC, then got involved with the children, getting tea ready, then out to choir :T Got plenty done today, so will post my list later (tomorrow)
Ok having been told off for not sticking to flylady's like i planned last october and continuing to live in utter Chaos.
To be fair, you didn't get told off; you asked for advice, and people gave it. Sometimes people need to be blunt to be kind
I'm off to bed with a book, a glass of sherry and some cheese :rotfl: DH and I are out for the day tomorrow, so I'll catch up with you all soon :A:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Thanks for your kind messages; here's what I managed to do:
wash up
wipe down worktops and table
feed dog
get DD into PJs and up to bed
tidy up
got out my epilator and attacked my legs (ouch ouch ouch!) - worth it though!!
knitting whilst watching TV
So altogether not bad at all and much better than I thought I could do.
Off to bed now, night night all and thanks again. Big hugs to all those in need - seems like there's a lot of us right now xxxFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

sockdrawer belated birthday wishes xx hope Dh's tests will soon be done and you can deal with the problem - have a brilliant weekend - you lucky person to be leaving the snow behind!!!:DThank you hun! Keep pinching myself because I can't believe how lucky/content I am! (and so unexpectedly spoiled yesterday!!!)
I think half the problem with MY worries re hubby (let me make it clear, it's me who's worried.... he's rationalising) is that my mum had MS which progressed aggressively (way back in the old days of the '70's when no one believed it existed and it was either all in her mind/PND/ etc etc etc. And his foot is flapping away exactly like hers. I did say to the doc regarding the MRI..."so did that rule out any nasties like MS for instance" (because I would) and he said he couldn't really rule out anything at this point. It's up to the electrical conductivity test he should have had a month ago but never got an appointment. I have to say though, I know I'm being irrational about it and borrowing trouble. As my darling sister says, of course we would think that, and of course we would think the worst, and the worst, for us, is what happened to mum. I'm trying to rise above it. It's just my thoughts that are letting me down iyswimThank you for the support hun, and I hope all is well with you dearie, xx
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
Everything achieved today that I had planned, all appointments kept, my parent's house cleaned to safe standard, Mum's washing delivered to Dad for him to take back to hospital together with new slippers, tap class done & even descaled the bathroom taps. I pumped up my Dad's tyres has he has difficulty bending.
Hope tomorrow goes well too.0 -

not too bad, DW unloaded & reloaded, TD unloaded, kitchen S&S, bathroom S&S, then 15 mins filing. Feels good to know there were others flying too!! Off to bed now zzzzzzz
night all, hope everyone sleeps well xxxWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
I'm beginning to see sense - I have packed, and labelled, ALL my sold e bay items - even the ones not yet paid for. The paid-for-and-ready-to-post are in a bag to take with me tomorrow to post on the way back from my Friday Errand. If any more are paid for before I go they can easily be moved into the bag.
I'm half way round my dining room but some decluttering is going on apace; I have also selected some more items to e bay.
And I need to research how curtains are sold on e bay - chances are they'll be too heavy to post. Anyine sold/bought curtains on e bay?

Evening everyone
Just wanted to pop on and say thank you for all the lovely, lovely messages. Its a great comfort to be able to come on here and zone out for a while and read my way through the thread, so a huge thank you to you all.
OMG aren't funerals expensive!! Dad wanted a really simple funeral and the best quote comes in at £2800 and thats with no frills!!!! We can't have the funeral for at least 2 weeks because of the back log caused by the weather in December and Xmas/New Year so the earliest is w/c 21.02 - getting a definate date tomorrow when we go to the Undertakers. DS is being overly cheerful [which in itself is worrying] and DD is taking it very hard, I've just been into her now cos she was getting into a right state, hopefully she has worn herself out and is fast asleep now. My eyes hurt from crying and Mum is very emotional too [quite a shock as she is normally quite hard] lots of cuddling going on and big hugs.
Thats it for now - once again thank you everyone
