Evening all, sorry i've been MIA but house is full of poorlies. Kids all off school today and have been on and off all week. Looks like they'll be off tomorrow as well. :(

I haven't read any of the thread so big hugs, sticks and spoons where needed.

I've been flying this week and have sorted a few things in DD's room. Still have a bit of painting to do and need to sand the kitchen ceiling. They'll be jobs for the weekend.....

Hubby away to football on Sunday and then restbite on Monday so my plan is to have the house in good shape before he goes so i can have some rest myself and get a few things sorted. Then i want the house in great shape before he comes home. I can but dream.:rotfl:

Monday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining areas
    Level One

    Sweep and mop floors
    Level Three
    Wash windows.. just insides remember..

    Extras
    1. Clean out pongy pets
Tuesday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!
    DONE :D
Wednesday ~ Master bedroom DONE :D

Thursday ~ Bathroom, WC and Study
    Level One

Declutter and vacuum/mop floors in these rooms!
    Level Two
    Polish screens
Shine taps and shower rails and radiators

    Friday ~ Everything else!
    Level One
Declutter floors in childrens rooms, hall, stairs and landing
    Vacuum these floors
    Level Two
    Strip some neglected sticky bedding
Sort through a box of toys/junk
    Level Three
    Wash some grubby curtains
Wipe paintwork in a room you've not done this in for some time

Best go fill kids up with more medicine and then i need to clean the inside door windows, all out lead is slipping so the woman who we bought it off is suppose to come out tomorrow and see it.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

*has gone RIGHT OFF Cally C* ;)

huge hugs for the Jelly family - glad dad's passing was peaceful, be gentle with yourselves.
Sympathy for Paulie's Nixie too - that must be a hard thing to go through.

had a busy day in Valliland today

bathroom and kitchen done, living room done, landing vacuumed kids rooms vacuumed - dining room is a work-in-progress with a re-org going on; more carp flung, rehomed

two sales posted, another has been paid this afternoon, so I willpost that tomorrow and I have bids on three items ending tonight, from mum's stash - a few 'unwanted' gifts going that would, at one time, have gone straight to the charity shop. I can't remember if I get to keep the money or not, probably I do!

Oh kitchen clean included the cutlery drawer, which was desperate:o and the cutlery tray, so it's all nice now. Mind you IF i keep opening it to look at how tidy it all looks it will soon fill up with crumbs again :rotfl:

Loo scrubbed to within an inch of its existence today. Thought there was a funny niff when I opened the lid; now, I do get "phantom" smells sometimes (I gather it's to do with the lupus *confused smiley*) and it was probably a phantom, but I decided I wasn't taking any chances.

I was wondering if someone can gently fling a fluffy mule for me please. My BD who was scratching at the door is now firmly in with me and I can't shake him - so much so I called the GP and she's told me to up my meds :(. Feel really disappointed as I was doing so well, but as she pointed out I was on a really low dose so it's fine.

I really can't be bothered to do anything; have wasted the day, hardly had any exercise, shouted at the kids and just want to go to bed and curl up in a ball. I need to be doing things, not wasting my time like I have done!

Thanks very much and sorry to be a pain.

Flying wise, about to declutter DS to bed then need to wash up tea dishes and tidy up before DD gets home from Cubs. Then get her to bed and I'll be very close behind as so tired.

Ok having been told off for not sticking to flylady's like i planned last october and continuing to live in utter Chaos. No let me correct that grubby and getting grubbier Chaos.

I'm starting today.. not next monday like i keep thinking.. today.

Now i've just got home wolfed down a bowl of stew from the slow cooker and im looking at the list. Do you think it's a good enough start to just do the things in red? I guess that will take about an hour or so?

I just don't want to be lazy and have a huge amount of work to do around the house because frankly it's gross!!! but at the same time i'm knackered from work

Also will it really work?? my house is a disaster will doing the daily jobs really make much difference in the short/long term for a house in a real mess or do i need tougher action to begin with?
