I am back to almost full health after my fall through the ceiling. All bruises have gone now and my arms and back no longer ache everytime I try and lift something heavier than a tissue! But now with all this cold weather, my hip has started to play up.

I did do a little bit off the lists last week with the help of DH who was off work looking after me and kids, but he is back to work this week, so I am determined to do all the lists myself this week! Today all I have left is to clean out the cat's litter tray. All other animals were cleaned out by DH at the weekend, but we have just got a new cat who is currently staying inside so she doesn't run away and I have the lovely job of changing her litter tray every so often.

Better go and finish feeding the baby, then it is time to put other baby to bed for his nap, tidy out his playpen, put little baby in the playpen so I can go and have a shower without worrying about what mess she has got herself into!!

Hugs and Spoons for everyone who needs them (have been too busy with the list this morning to keep up with the thread). Thanks again to all at FCC for the lists, my house is definitely looking better and I hope to keep on top of the housework!!

    :mad:Flaming 'highest mountain' double glazing:mad:

How many times do I have to say (very politely) "No thank you, I am not interested" before you go???

Just because they know you do not want to shut the door in their face:mad:

They are so rude aren't they. I can tell sales person a mile off now and normally grab hold of Pip's collar when I open the door. She hates people coming to the door, growls and barks and that normally keeps their visit short. ;)

LameWolf, sorry to hear you're having a flare up (((hugs))) x

Natty68, glad you're settling into your routine - takes a while doesn't it. Glad you and DH enjoyed his birthday, the Chinese and champagne sounds yummy! Sorry you're feeling a bit blue - I find I can dwell on things people said without meaning to and it's really hard. Big (((hugs))) to you too x

Cat_Smith, oh your naughty dog! Sounds like just the sort of thing mine would do too.

DS watching Chicken Little and I am going to unpick some of the knitting I did last night as I've gone horribly wrong :(.

  • Not a very well bunny today - think the cold/flu lurgy that has gone round our local towns is now hitting all the villages! So, haven't done too much today other than lie on the sofa. Happy to say that over the weekend I did blitz the kitchen so hoping that, if well enough tomorrow I can get the other bits from Day 1 list that may not have been done on Satuday.

Mumof2 at least it wasn't my cheque's. He has a real problem with post. The first ever cheque I got when I went self employed, I had to ring up the client and say 'the dog ate it'. Very embarassing. We now have a post cage.

    Afternoon all,

HelenJ lots of hugs, hope you're ok.

Quick post from work, I'm off home at 2 - 7 minutes & counting - so will make a start on the list.

I'm going to tackle the LR as well as the kitchen today. It was my lovely DD's 18th birthday yesterday, so we had family round to celebrate & I still have to clear all the remaining detritus! :D The bonus is that we have loads of leftovers, so no need to cook tonight :j:j

    Hello ladies and gents,

Late but still in again this week. Thanks to FCC for the lists and freds and keeping me organised (ish).

Had a good start, rang dwp and have been advised to appeal against ESA medical thing. I have therefore sent forms in this morning by (recorded) mail. Then went to Morrisons with Mum for a brekkie (her treat) and a good shop up. Went a bit overboard but I am well stocked now and needed some toiletries, plus I could not resist a bunch of tulips to brighten me up and a rather folorn looking reduced Jasmine plant so whoops.

Shopping is now away and tulips looking glorious in their vase in the sun. Nice to have some spring flowers in the house.

I am having a quick coffee before popping a second coat of 'one coat' gloss onto some cupboard doors in the hallway. Did a patch test of the paint for the walls last night and it is going to be a two coat job there too. Mind you its a pale yellow so is to be expected. My mum has given me the fab idea of ordering some prints of my floral photo's to add a shot of colour so will have to pick some later.

Then once the painting is done I guess the kitchen is on the agenda....

Hmm, plenty to keep me going today.

Still having done something about the esa problem and being assured I will still receive some income in the interim is a relief. The sun is out too which is nice to see even if it is mighty cold.

    Time to move..

Love Hugs and Spoons all round
