    Hi, after lurking for a while I decided this was the week to join properly, off to a bad start as I didn't sleep well, then overslept, so now I am playing catch up:doh:

    Hi there. Hugs to all.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for getting burnt on gunk from a Le Creuset pan. I've scrubbed, boiled with baked soda and scrubbed again. Nothing is shifting it.

    I use astonish paste with a microfibre cloth - is it a saucepan one or a griddle one? I get the paste is a cheap £1 shop like store and use it on the AGA, for sinks, baths etc. It is the only cleaner I use to be honest apart from vinegar, lemons, washing soda.

    Made a fair start but phone call I needed to make took ages.

    Just letting the floors dry whilst having a cuppa and then I need to take the lunchbox to school.

  • Sorry - funfairprincess - missed the fact that you were setting off at 10:00 as well....!

    In my Blitz on the Dailies I have

    * Emptied the dishwasher
    * Repacked it
    * Done a stack of washing up
    * Made a chilli con carne
    * Emptied the airing cupboard and folded everything/put it away
    * Spun the washing and hung it up
    * Watered the plants
    * Cleaned the loos
    * Got caught on the phone for ages...:o

    I'm going to take a small break, then off to do another HH Dailies run at 12:00-ish.

    See you soon

    *cue twilight zone theme* I've literally come to this thread, having wasted an hour ont'web trying to answer that - not successful so far :(
    Given up for now cos I've got to do other stuff. I'll let you know if I find anything...Mine's a blue frying pan - at least bits of it are blue - and the burnt bits are all on the outside - caked on in places; inside's fine. Similarly, does anyone know if oven mate can be used to clean the outside of steel pans. Can't use it on the oven because it's 'self-clean' :cool: but I'm sick of scrubbing my pans now and am tempted...

    Well, I did everything I intended in that HHC plus tidied DS2s bedroom, emptied the bins, did recycling, checked on neighbour, accepted and checked a parcel, answered 2 work calls and put lunch on for DS2(he's off school ill) and me. Off now to finish preparing lunch, will have break then back to paid work and more HHC housework later.

    How about you PenPen?
