  • I'm in - thanks for the thread. Take it easys to everyone who should be, get well soons and hugs for anyone who needs them.

Kitchen's not too bad so hopefully won't take long - except for floor which means pulling everything out to get at the lost frozen peas and my smallest knife which keeps falling out of the rack cos it's not long enough. Think that lesson has sunk in and I'm going to...move it. Duh! :D After cleaning the stinkpit oven at the end of last week, I laid down my new oven liner in the bottom. It makes everything look so clean, haha. Like having a rug to sweep the cr*p under :rotfl:

Have to do the dreaded meal plan today, get shopping and do mag delivery down south ie york and surrounds. Might dragoon DS1 for that. It's also the 31st - which was my deadline for going through every room in the house properly - not quite there yet but the worst is done so I'm pleased with progress so far.

Anyway, have a good day all x

not too much achieved in my HHC, as Mr Dys0n arrived. New clutch on my hoover. Luckily still covered by the service I had last autumn! :) I heart dys0n.

In my HHC I dot-to-dotted in the kitchen :) I'm now chopping Seville oranges for Whisky Marmalade  I still have some from last year in the pantry, but can't bear a year without the bitter sweet smell of Sevilles cooking ;)

Morning all, not caught up yet so I hope everyone's OK.

Today's list done, plus I emptied out another cupboard and threw away some horrid baking trays (why was I keeping them?). Also damp wiped in the living room and the computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs and up the stairs.

Some washing sulking on the line.

I know there was something else I was going to write but it's gone.......

    Hi there. Hugs to all.

So far real dog walked, black dog told to b***er off. WM on. Kitchen desperate so that is next. Having guest on Wednesday so will have to get through everything over the next couple of days.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting burnt on gunk from a Le Creuset pan. I've scrubbed, boiled with baked soda and scrubbed again. Nothing is shifting it.

ooo I haven't made any (ever) yet, will have to get some oranges and try. All my jam has been eaten or given away, so I'll need to make something else to keep us going. Is marmalade as easy as jam?!

    Let's see what's left..

Lemanie - OOOOOO Scarlet Fever - I had that when I was 15 - its not nice - hope you are over the worst of it, take it easy

Thanks for thinking of me, with all you have on your plate. :kisses3: Yes, I'm much better thanks, the anti-biotics really worked and so my throat is only sore now, not swollen, the rash comes and goes and my hands, feet and neck are peeling - attractive :D.

I'm planning on a HHC at 11.30 if anyone wants to join in, I need to empty TD, Washer, DW and do a bit of moving, too much staring at PC.
