Well I'm back for week 2 - only not feeling particularly lively. Baby decided to be awake from 1.30am until 4am *yawn*. Currently debating whether to walk the 3 miles to and from our baby group this morning, given said sleepiness and the way the trees are flapping about. Think I'll see how well the monkey naps - I'm not waking him up until I absolutely have to!

Glad to see it's kitchen today. 1. mine needs doing 2. everywhere else is covered in flatpack furniture or it's boxes and laundry.

    Ninth Anniversary
    Triker - hugs

I'm in big time this week
Went to see Dad today, haven't been able to go much this week - seeing him made me think that maybe he won't ever come home so used the excuse of watching "PS I LOVE YOU" on TV to have a really good cry - over it now, he looked so little lying in the bed and he told me that he just wants to go home, heartbreaking.

    Anyhoo,
Thanks to the ladies for the thread, thanks for all the support and I'll try to keep up with you all this week

    Helen x
Really agree with you on this .My Dad doesn't enjoy very good health and looks so frail now .He lives 200 miles away and I cry every time I leave him now - like you say heartbreaking :(

In again for me please. Dog already walked slippy out but just managed to stay on my feet (just)

off to make a start Think I'll try level two today as have day off -yipee !!!!
  • Hello

:jNew to this thread, Normally a flying avoider must learn to get in the habit in fact its a bit of a new years resolution. (something about my Nan saying i'll never get a man with a messy home.. bless her, she means well).:o
Anyway looking forward to the tasks in hand.:TBeth x

I took your Nan's statement as "you'll always find a man has a messy home" but that's just me:D

Morning, all! Record and book fair successful i.e. more stuff gone and money in for it: I think I'll take some of it to the second hand store in town to Get Rid and fleabay the rest. As far as flying's concerned, today, I will be doing the basics but mostly, I'll be herding the stuff I brought back into cupboards and starting to sort out for Saturday's vintage fair. Otherwise known as making a mess to tidy up.:rotfl:

Dodgy hugs, spoons and sticks to all.

Paulies_Nixie, take it very easy. I've had some unsticky bubs before DS and you just need to just do what you really have to - nothing else.

Just looked at my list - is it OK if I put appointment reminders on and things that aren't Flying related? It really helps but I can keep them somewhere else to make my lists shorter :).

Just had a look at the oven and wanted to shut it again - it's carnage in there . Taken the shelves out and given them a spray with water/washing up liquid mix and am leaving that to soak in - will make myself after I've done dailies as it's definitely the worst job.

OK kids dropped at school now to make a viking long boat!!! It's W's homework but there is no way they could do that on their own so I will make it, he can decorate it later :D

DW and TD on WM about to be fed.

    Might this help??

ETA: Yorkie, you're absolutely right, John Barry, rest in peace and thanks for all the songs. This doesn't give me a reason to sing "Deleted_User" really badly for the rest of the day does it?? No, thought not!
