I suspect you may know this but you can check out your exchanges provision here, it should give you upgrade dates as well

    http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search

A lot depends on if you download "wink wink" a lot of data, If you don't then go BT, if you do avoid like the plague they are simply the worst ISP out there, they actively censor the web ... traffic and shape bandwidth and judicially apply contention ratios at peak time even when there is no peak demand ...

imo BE are simply the best, I have had them for about 4 years, zero shaping, filtering or contention. I always get max speed, and I download about 300gb a month with never a complaint out of them. There also small enough not to come under the digital millennium act. I would take BE at 2mb over BT at 8mb every day of the week.

there not the cheapest thou, if you have sky there complete tv, phone and net package is very cheap

Thanks Eric, sadly I already know that BE don't cover my area (phoned them yesterday). My area is normally around £20+ for net only because we're so rural and BT have a strangle hold - we never get any of the advertised price deals. Looking at IDNET or Titan-adsl at the moment as I do some *wink *wink downloading.

Hey everyone, just looking for a bit of motivation from u all.. as ive been struggling to stay focused with it all.
I do the davina work outs but I think I would like to do something different aswell, cos I get a bit bored of them (I'm not a huge fan of exercising as I dont find it that much fun). However I dont have the money to go to classes or anything, so I need something free and fun(ish)... I think this will help me stay on track. I hope.
    Start Weight: 10st 8lbs
    Target Weight: 9st 4lbs (ish)

    Current Weight: 9st 13lbs 8oz
    Total Lost: 8lbs 8oz :j

Don't usually power up the pc before work, but I had to this morning as I was so excited - stepped on the scales this morning and I've lost 5.0lbs since last week! This brings me under the elusive 10stone mark (by 0.6lbs), and means I've lost 10.6lbs so far this year. It also means I've already done the 5lb a month challenge, and it's a nice boost for team women. I tried not to make excuses that last week's feeble loss was down to TOTM, but I suppose the upside is now any water weight I was carrying last week has come off as well as continuing the downward trend. I'm off to dance my way to work now :D

Well done Dinah, I don't know how you have managed that. All the extra exercising I am doing at the moment and 32 lengths of the pool most days and all I have lost is 1lb.

I'm still not into the next stone but determinded to do so next week
