Anyone who got the red, is it the N270

    Just got back from tesco

    No netbook

    despite email saying

Please collect your order after 4pm on Tuesday 01 February 2011 from Scarborough 2 Tesco

Did some shopping only because we wanted netbook, waited in tesco direct queue for 10 minutes whilst a customer was speaking although didn't pick anything up only to be told driver didn't wait to drop goods off, I can only assume he/she may be on driving time

Poor show on Tesco dont to even let us know and no guarantee it will come tomorrow either

Rang up to complain said they would investigate and ring tomorrow

Hi savemoney, after seeing your post. I had a word with my partner, he knows the driver. Don't blame the driver, he said the store is a nightmare. The driver would of been waiting outside the store for ages, waiting to be let in. Probably would have to give up in the end to go deliver the rest of his parcels.
He said you will get it tomorrow, because two days worth of deliveries, have to be cleared.
I know how bad they are because my partner used to go there. He often used to call me furious about the amount of time they used to leave him waiting outside.

Thanks yes I can understand the store being a nightmare its a small store very close to town centre built in earlier 80's

I dont blame the driver that why suspected he may be over his time if he waited nor do I blame thestaff who served us. I blame tescos for not letting us know and or at least give us a guarantee or deliver it to our home tomorrow by courier

just been to asda and they had a netbook , dont ask me what it was like , i just see it at £147, 10.1", 250gb , 1gb mem, windows 7 , looked on there site but not there . sorry cant be of no more help , i know the brand started with a E , not emachines though as they had this one tooat £200+

The emachines is now at £187 in Asda, the model is E350.

10.1 screen with the n450 processor (didn't notice the HDD size).

Not as good as the Acer but still a decent deal.
