    virtually the same spec as the Acer, fine for most general use, including browsing.

    What is the price?

    They sell this Compaq model in Tesco stores. Unfortunately, out of stock in mine except for the demonstrators. It seems to be quite a good screen. Do a compare on Tesco's web site. Very few differences - slight difference in screen technology.

    I have ordered one as the Acer, if it ever comes back in stock, won't be within the current 20% discount offer.

    Picked mine up yesterday, great little thing but didn't have a case with it so will will be looking round at all the poundlands.

    Thanks a million, been after one for ages just none at a price i could afford.

    just been to asda and they had a netbook , dont ask me what it was like , i just see it at £147, 10.1", 250gb , 1gb mem, windows 7 , looked on there site but not there . sorry cant be of no more help , i know the brand started with a E , not emachines though as they had this one tooat £200+
