Not recommended on a open connection but if you have good security using wpa2 on your own router that it should be okay

    Thanks.

Is that something I would need to purchase extra - or will that be intergrated?

If you have a router at home (a device that allows you to connect wirelessly in your own home) then you can set up a password on it so that you can connect to your Broadband internet connection but no-one else can. As long as you use a 'WPA' password when you set it up then you should be fine.

But no, I wouldn't connect to internet banking from a unsecured public wireless connection.

    HTH :)

You would just need an external CD Rom drive, something like this from eBay.

On auction they are even cheaper, one has just finished for a fiver + postage.

You get a case with it, well I did with my blue Linux one that I bought a couple of years ago.

It is only a padded sleeve but it does keep protect it from dirt etc, on the right of the pic below.
