yeah we all love curries, my problem is that i hate it if thinbgs dont have meat:o:o silly i know and im trying to change that attitude cause i didnt use to be like this
Hmm one quite cheap recipe we did was a pork and cabbage dish - we used pork loin slices (reduced in Sainsbugs first time
) it does the two of us three nights easily!

I've lost a pound this week!!!!!!!, shame its the one I put on last week. Makes my February total -1lb altogether though, so not worth shouting about I'm afraid.
Total loss = 12lbs since Jan 1st, I'd hoped it would have been at least a stone by now. On the positive side I could have put on 12lbs or stayed the same I suppose.
On the cheap recipe quest, pasta in sauce doesn't have to cost too much, depending on what you put in. You could adapt the homemade soup to make a nice sauce, eg. tomato or mushroom then add a little meat - ham, chicken or tuna. I sometimes use a packet of carbonara sauce mix then add fresh ham and mushrooms to spaghetti.
Another option where you can get the kids involved is homemade pizzas, either buy a plain pizza base or make your own and put a little tomato paste on the base, then get a selection of toppings, sliced ham, tinned pineapple, a couple of sliced mushrooms, slivers of ham, chicken, tuna, pepperoni. you don't need much of each then a sprinkle of cheese. Good if you have any left overs in the fridge.
The kids can arrange their own toppings, make smiley faces, etc. or you could do a low fat, guilt free vegetarian option.

Well done jovi20, 12lbs in 2 months is amazing!!!!! :j
I'm going to WI tomorrow for my 1st March total... if I've lost anything it'll be a miracle. But I do feel more positive. I spent the weekend doing some walking and cycling, then last night tackled lots of housework (ironing, changing beds etc) and really put some welly into it!
I need to lose this weight and the longer days are spurring me on to be more active in the evenings.
I'm going to go to the gym after work too, although the weather is so good that I'm tempted to go for a bike ride instead... which should I do?
Thanks for creating the March thread Dragon, will be along in a minute to register xoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Sorry guys. weighed myself this morning I have lost in total this month......zero pounds.
I could make excuses (I have a whole storecupboard of them, next to the chocolate biscuits)...but I just need to get my lardy butt off the sofa more.
Hope you all did better than me. *hangs head in shame*"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -

Actually you did better than me - as of this morning I was two pound UP on the month
