Well I weighed in this morning and ..... I stayed the same :rotfl:, actually I am quite happy with this as it turns out I do need my thyroxine so holding my own is reasonable!

Okay folks there is one more week of February left - here's hoping we can all lose a pound in that week :D

A big thankyou for your warm welcomes.

I am re-starting my diet diary as of now to record all I eat. I found this to be helpfull when I was losing my weight last time. I am quite good at forgetting I have eaten a biscuit or three, packet of crisps etc, then wondering why I've not lost anything.

I had also got into doing a bit of exercise and was walking 5 miles every day. However since having the baby It takes me all my time to walk up to my parents house about 5 minutes away and I have gone back to taking the car on most visits. So in addition I am going to try and make the effort to do some exercise every day. I've got no excuse as I have also invested in a Wii f1t and also a few exercise dvd's over the years , including my most recent additions this year - The Biggest L**ser DVD and Wii workouts. Although I've had these about a month now and only used the wii once and the dvd is still in its wrapper.

Will get back to you when I have managed to do something.

Yay! back at the gym for the first time since Xmas today!

10 minutes warm up on the treadmill then a yogalates class, which I remember now I really enjoy....all those lovely stretches!

All ages there and instructor said it will speed up calorie burning, especially if you get the breathing right. Never mind, it's for general health and flexibility too and I'm soooo glad I'm back.

Am going to add my exercise targets to my sig too.

Good luck coco!! everything crossed for you too (with my new-found flexibility:rotfl:)

I've had the same experience, but don't lose heart.. it will happen (I keep telling myself the same thing). Let's not give up! :A

Vixi - if you're losing inches that's fantastic!!!! :j The scales WILL catch up xoxoxo

I actually forgot to WI this morning, am annoyed at myself! :( Will do it tomorrow.

Thanks Tara and welcome Jovi! :D

Right I've gone and done something today which is probably silly considering my current weight blues but ultimately I know is a good thing - I HAVE GIVEN UP SMOKING!!!!! But giving up smoking and having to eat something to stop the cravings (and we all know that a carrot stick won't do the trick!) and then once restarting not doing anything much to reduce the weight gain is the reason I got into this state in the first place  So obviously although I still really want to be going down on the scales I would also not be too down about just staying the same.....well wish me luck girls, I'm gonna need it!
Oh, am not sure if you remember that I was recommended a couple of books, I posted a link to them maybe a week ago but I found one of them (The Schwarzbein Principle) in the charity shop today - YAY! I haven't looked through it yet, but am gonna get on it asap and maybe that'll be the key to getting my bikini body back.......who knows :j

    Hi everyone,

Well done Bluebellbunny on giving up smoking, you can do it!!! Just take one day at a time.

I've done it! I took the wrapper off the Biggest L**ser DVD yesterday, that has been sitting by my TV for the last month. Even more than that I put it on and actually did ten minutes of warm up with Angie, at this point I'd had enough, but I continued and did another 20 minutes workout. So a massive total of 30 minutes exercise!!! well it was my first session in a while.

Haven't done anything exercise wise yet today, but have made up some sugar free jellies for guilt free snacking. Also done a bit of ironing and hoovering which might get rid of a couple of calories.

Hope you feel better soon tara747, we all get them sort of days now and again.
