Evening all

How cold is it today?

Have been walking and geocaching with friends and doglet and it was bitterly cold despite appropriate clothing incl thermals. Bath required to thaw out.

Roast chicken and lots of veg for dinner - mmmmm am already thinking about the stock/soup/curry that is to follow.

WM been on and towels just in the TD.

busy day today,
done 5 loads of washing ( including 2 lots of bedding) dried and put back on
a huge pile of ironing
bathroom cleaned
shower room cleaned
kitchen cleaned
hoovered through
chilli and wedges made for tea
been to barnsley to look at carpets, we are desperate for a new dining room carpet as its threadbare in places and dd1 dropped the iron on it so we have a lovely triangular burn too

did some shopping on the way back too and managed to pick up some bargains

DH is washing up as i type :j
going to my jammies on and relax

Good Evening! Well Dh had decided on chili burgers plus seasoned rice fo supper.
DS has called - to begin with he was coming up today, now it'll be maybe tomorrow.It's lovely to have him here, but very good if he thinks he can manage without IYSWIM.
Taplady - I hope your DS is enjoying a great 21st birthday!

Great day- did all my agenda!

Discovered that Newcastle libraries are now doing digital lendings - download audio or ebooks and then they are returned after set period. Love it so registered and reserved a couple of books.

Now lounging around - was that on my agenda? Enjoying it anyway as I'm away for work for a lot of next week, but also catching up with some dear friends I haven't seen for far too long.

Well the twins are right off there food. They have just refuced to est ther dinner, They wonted bread and butter insted. So we did that for them one mouthfull each and they did not wont it:mad: So loads off food has been wasted tonight.
They are now sat there eating blueberrys and grapes. So at least they are eating something.

They are both very grumpy again

Evening all

No house work done today as I was up and out early with the three littlies as DH was working. Got some MS/Audit jobs done and treated them to lunch out (I had a jacket potato topped with Veggie Chilli (bought some tins of mixed beans to make my own too:D)

Just sitting down to watch primeval now with a Pernod

had to pop back in as I'm very excited....just made my first ever
banana bread and it is currently baking in bm, I used up 2 very ripe
bananas that DH would normally have put in bin :j
