Thank you all for the shiny new thread.
Can I please be put down for £375 again this month.
Going in to have baby on 8th February and not sure whether I will be in longer than a week (due to baby needing an operation) or not but have completely stocked up so DH should only need to get milk, bread and fresh fruit for the girls (she says hopefully!). Will make sure he keeps all his receipts or updates the spreadsheet for me lol.

Morning everyone. I am not going to be able to manage a no spend day because I need to buy fruit. I should definitely manage no spends on Sunday and Monday. I am off out for dinner with DH tonight. I am making a ham and cheese pie with the gammon left over from the joint last night. For lunch I am going to make honey soya chicken wings from The Secret Takeaway recipe book.
I have ordered a shopping trolley. It will make getting my shopping home easier.GC 2011 Feb £626.89/£450 NSD3/7 March £531.26/£450 April £495.99/£500 NSD 0/7 May £502.79/£500

Thanks ZippyChick, MrsMcCawber and Rosieben for the thread! :A:A:A
Three pages already and it's still January! :rotfl:zippychick wrote: »Sunnyday - how much were Amazon doing kitty pouches for? I wouldn't have known they sold them!
Zippychick, Amazon also had really good prices on K*nc* coffee refills. Not sure if they're still on but it's quite surprising what they're selling these days.babyboysmommy wrote: »... To save money once the baby is here I've decided to use washable nappies & possibly washable wipes. If you have any info, experience or advice about them I'd love it if you could post about it on my thread in the family forum... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3009878 Thank you
Babyboysmummy, just to say I'm a grandmother now to two but I only used terry nappies for my daughter. When I see how much she spent on the first GD and spends now on the second GD just to throw it all away into landfill it really concerns me. Terry's really are the best and while appearing expensive as a single purchase if you compare that to the cost of throw aways ('disposable' makes it sound acceptable somehow) over the time you'll be using them it's very small.
I hope you enjoy. I didn't use washable wipes I'm afraid.

Mummygems all the very best for the birth and baby's op. Hope it goes well. We'll be thinking of you and you must think of you and baby and give yourself a break, not knock yourself out for the gc for a little while. Good luck.
I'm still on Jan so see you in a while.
Take care,
