In fact gotta blow a tenner from the grocery budget tomorrow for big bag of Puppy Complete from Costco!
lol there are 20,000 to give away so make use of it, if anyone feeds it anyway then it includes a £5 voucher for your next pack.
Over the years mine have all had a huge earthenware bowl of food each. Every night i put in a mugfull of burgess supadog, a mugfull of vitalin original and half a mugfull of porridge oats. I fill each bowl with boiling water from the kettle and leave to cool overnight. I mix it up in the morning and it lasts them all day (with a pup it may take him/her time to realise that its going to be there all day and it may all get eaten at once)
At night i add in a tub of home made dogfood and some mixer so if anything is left it all gets finished up. I`m using the eukanuba instead of mixer atm. I think that something to crunch is important for their teeth. If they have cleared their bowls early then i add a mugfull of supadog into the night time mix too.
I`ve had 7 dogs now and they have all had this mixture, any freebies i get are given as a one off treat with their late meal. I have fed different things sometimes especially when i was trying to give them a more natural diet but i always end up with the same old tried and trusted one.
Oh and have another freebiehttp://www.naturopetfoods.com/23/register/sample This one is good and if my local pet store stock it they will have some as an odd treat.

I'm in again, frantically trying to claw our way out of the overdraft. A big vet bill last month and i am just struggling to get back out of it.
Cha97michelle wants a £200 target - food, toiletries, cleaning and nappies for DS2 who should really potty train but keeps refusing. No cat food needed as we probably have enough in for a good part of the year after losing the other one at christmas.
I went to Mr T on foot today, so could only get what would go on the buggy. (That is a plan that works on more than one front. ) I need to get so much better though at only buying what we need, and i must get to making more stuff. Too much spent on yoghurts and puddings for the kids.
I spent £19.31 so far. £13.62 was on food, and £5.69 was on toiletries we needed.0 -
Hi,
Could I be put down for £50 a week please Mrs Mc?
That's for 2 adults (1 veggie and 1 meat eater) and a small greedy dog - it includes all food, toiletries, household stuff, laundry things and pet food.
Thank you!0 -

(did you see the cat in the paper who turned 39 at xmas?!)
Lol at the 39 year oldOur oldest was 19, we`ve always had rescues so probably not an accurate age but just the time that we`ve had them. I love the natural diet and tried everything to get her to accept it but it ended up being a definite no-no for her.
I have to agree about the fillers and especially the ash. Awful things to add to food and i`m convinced that they go a long way to contributing to kidney and liver problems later in life. When offers are on i get some really good deals on applaws and feline fayre pouches so i always stock up on these then She loves them but they are far to expensive for her to have all of the time. I prefer cruelty free food for her but she doesn`t always agree with me.
Same with the dogs, they have tried other food and i really liked the pero animal friendly food but after a few days they wouldn`t eat it so we ended up back on the usual. The younger houndie (both rescues) had a hard time of it before she was taken in by the rescue and has a very delicate tum she had been badly beaten and i`m convinced that this has contributed to digestion problems poor bear.
I`ve not seen the choice food around so i`ll have a nosy for it, thanks for the info.

Yayyy, I have been waiting for this, I am being very eager at the moment, lets hope it lasts;) I have done this before, not done it in a few months though:( Need to reign in the grocery bill to try and offset the fuel rise and everything else.
We are 2 adults and 1 15 yr old and one 11 yr old, OH has to keep to a very low fat diet and has to avoid processed meats, like bacon, ham etc. Its a bit of a mare actually to feed him, cost effectively, but I muddle through as best I can. On top of his LF diet, he actually has to eat quite a lot of food as he cycles 20 miles a day to work and back, so any ideas for protein rich food that is low fat and cheap would be great;)
My month starts from today till 28 Feb and can you please put me down for £350.00 please.
Many thanks and good luck everyone:cool:

Wssla00 is right 48 AGAIL for £12 and free delivery atm, when i ordered the sensations were on offer too so i ordered 2x 48 for £11.52 each delivered. I also discovered that the dog food that i buy was on there so i ordered that too so i made a saving on petrol.
I would never have thought that they sold things like this but someone on the January GC posted it (sorry can`t remember who) and i fell lucky.
I shall make a habit of checking their site and searching for ones with free delivery as i saved quite a lot of money by ordering tons of stuff. I now have 3 sacks of dog food in and around 250 pouches
