thank god for mse, was just about to post the letter back to hyc when I stumbled across this chain. I investigated some more on the net and found this

Help Your Claim Limited is being investigated by the Claims Management Regulator under regulation 35 of The Compensation (Claims Management Services) Regulations 2006.
