WELL DONE really pleased for you!! :money:

Unfortunately l'm not sure what advice to give regards your dilemma, other than talk to hubby again. Good luck x

    Happy moneysaving all.
  • I have three children (two from my first marriage), and a step daughter so the ages in our family are 17, 7, 5 and 4 months. TBH I wouldnt have it any other way, granted slightly different circumstances. My hubby was a little nervous at first re finances but I drew up a spreadsheet of all outgoings etc and showed we could easily do it we just had to be organised, Iam going back to work on a part time basis so we will have to plan christmas and birthdays a little more than we do at the moment and have to forget foreign holidays until i go back to work full time. Mabye doing that would help appease hubby if it is just financial concerns x

You know, for a lot of fellas living with two toddlers, the very idea of introducing a third baby fills them with horror. Once they've gone to school, the nappies and beakers aren't filling the house etc. they're much more open to the idea of another.

As for 'in a few years....I'll be saying no.' I bet you wouldn't, I'm sure you'd do what you're doing now, talking about it.

Of course, what would inevitably happen ius you'd end up with 4, not 3, as you'll still not want the age gap

As a mummy with several, I will say starting again after the littlies are at school is lovely, you're no longer learning, and without the distractions during the day, you can really enjoy baby time, even just gazing down at your bundle sleeping in your arms...lovely.

Finances, you do what folk have always done, muddle through.

Good luck, whatever you decide to do, and huge well dones on discussing rather than simply doing, what a super couple you are.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Ah bless your heart thank you!

were stopping at two, We have two girls and both my OH and I have said that there will always be a little bit of regret that we've not had a little boy which is much wanted but we could get pregnant again and find at the 20 week scan were having another girl, and it is not worth the risk to us.

Both times being pregnant have been the worst periods of my life and I would be quite happy for the hospital to just whip everything out TBH, I sometimes wonder how much weight I would lose if they took out my now redunant womb.

I was in the position with my first that the father didnt want the baby, and I went ahead with the pregnancy myself and he has had nothing to do with her.
With my youngest it was very early on in the relationship with my OH but we made the decision together that we would keep her and even though at this moment she is ripping up what looks to be my bank statement she is the best thing that has happened to us as a couple.

So two is the magic number for us, a big factor in our choice to stay at 2 was that everything is designed for a family of four and financially this leaves us in the most secure position for now and in the future, as the chances are we are going to have two weddings to shell out for!
